What I Wore in July

Pretty fitting for my shorts themed week, my what I wore last week post features many shorts outfits!  I added the paperbag shorts featured earlier this week, and these denim shorts will be reviewed later this week.  Many of these outfits were from days spent at home or running a couple errands with a few days getting dressed up for a family visit or virtual baby shower.  Keep scrolling to check out my July outfits.

Also, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale kicked off for top tier cardholders yesterday!  I’ll be sharing my top picks in the LiketoKnow.it App (search for karenkocich) and you can also find them on my SHOP INSTAGRAM page.  Next week, I will start my official blog coverage although it will look a little different this year.  Most of my shares will be roundups of items vs the try ons and full outfit blog posts.  I decided not to shop in store this year, and I have a feeling my order will not arrive in time for my normal big try on blog post as in past years.  I checked out the preview over the weekend, and I found some really great pieces, and I can’t wait to start shopping the sale with ya’ll soon!

Well you wore it well for sure. I love my spin classes but am missing them as not been on since the beginning of lock-down, not sure I’ll go back for a while yet. Jacqui xx

In this new normal I haven’t wore dresses and my high heels as much. I am only traveling to work 1 or 2 days a week. I haven’t wore Jeans or pants since Memorial Day. I have went more casual. I have gravitated towards buying flat sandals more. Less morning work out wear I have wore dresses only about 30% of the time, rompers 20%, shorts 20% and bikini 30%. As for shoes, sneakers 20% of the time, heels 20% of the time, wedge sandals 20% and flat sandals/slightly elevated wedge sandals 40%. Out of your selection of great outfits for July my favorite is the dress. Boyfriend bought a peloton bike recently. He can’t wait for it to be delivered. How is yours. PTON is a must buy for the stay at home economy. As for the stock he cleaned house since April.
