Blue Rose Mini Dress
‘Tis the season for party dresses and holiday outfits! I wore this blue rose mini dress to a family member’s birthday dinner a few weekends ago. It’s the perfect dress for the holiday events. It has ties at the waist that can be adjusted. I love this because let’s be honest. The size you are at the beginning of the holiday season is not always the size at the end. I like that you can make this more fitted or less fitted and wear it to all of the holiday parties. Another fabulous detail – it has sheer sleeves and a smock detail at the bottom of the sleeve to help give the sleeves the perfect amount of volume.
You could dress up the look a little more with silver metallic or black heels. I added a green velvet blazer when I wore it to both dress it up and work with the cooler weather. Outside of holiday season, this dress would be perfect for date night or a fall and winter wedding.

The Little Black Dress You Will Wear All Holiday Season
Okay, I’m pretty sure I have found the perfect little black dress you will wear all holiday season. This dress will take you from work to date night, happy hour, or post work event seamlessly. It would also be perfect to wear to an office holiday party or dinner party. Overall, I would wear this outfit to work exactly as is except I would probably go with a little less glam earring choice like studs or simple hoops. Transitioning this dress from day to night can be easy as changing out your accessories. You can add a pair of statement earrings like I did in this post. Changing out your heels to a fun colorful pair like red for a holiday party or date night is another simple swap. Metallic heels are so popular right now and would be perfect for an event or happy hour.
I have such a weakness for little black dresses that can work so perfectly in a variety of situations with just a few accessory swaps. I love this dress for the holidays because the calendar is filled with parties and events and having one dress for all of them can be good for your budget. This dress can be glammed up or kept very simple to work in a variety of parties from cocktail to Thanksgiving dinner to casual post work drinks with friends. If you want one dress that will carry you from fall to winter, I found it!
Speaking of holiday parties, I am headed to a fun Halloween party this weekend! I’m so excited to be gathered with all my friends and catch up. Little Red Dress
Hello!! A little black dress or LBD for short is a staple in any woman’s closet. It’s a dress you can quickly grab for the office, date night, a cocktail event, or a wedding. I have several LBDs for various types of occasions. But today, we are talking about the other dress I think every woman should have one of – the little red dress.
I love wearing the color red. It’s a bold, statement making color, and pairs well with everything. Add red to a fitted dress, and you have an instant girlboss look. Red is such a power color and can give any woman a quick boost of confidence. A little red dress is perfect for an important meeting, date night, and cocktail events. Basically, everywhere you would were a LBD, you can wear a LRD.
This dress in particular I love because the simple silhouette paired with the bold red makes it work for a variety of engagements. The cap sleeve, midi look will work in the office, while the body con fit makes this dress work for cocktail events and date night. For the sizing on this one, I’m wearing a US4 which fits like a normal 2, and I did have it altered taking the hem up about 2 inches.

I always loved picking out my Christmas dress as a kid. We would get to pick out the prettiest dresses with some combo of velvet, satin, tulle, and lace. Of course, for many years, my sister and I were forced to buy matching dresses. We would have our Christmas photos in them and wear them to church on Christmas morning. It was a very special occasion that required a very special dress.
Even though many years have passed since my sister and I wore our matching red and white dresses to Christmas mass, I still like to occasionally buy a nice new Christmas morning dress. These days I look for one that I can wear to the office or a holiday party too.
The ruffle sleeve and dot print on this navy dress took me back a bit to that Christmas dress memory. It was that something special that made it not just some ordinary work dress, but a perfect Christmas morning church dress. Now that we are finally starting to get some cool weather, I figured my go to black tights were the perfect match for this outfit. When I wear black tights, I almost always grab for these dress booties.
I wanted to also create a look that could work for an office holiday party, so I grabbed these gorgeous berry statement earrings and clutch to add some fun color to the overall look. You could also pair this dress with a pair of nude heels and continue to wear it year round.
