Only TWO more weeks until Christmas!  This week’s gift guide is all about stuffing those stockings!!  One of my favorite things I have recently received in my stocking was gripping socks.  I know it may not sound too exciting, BUT when your floors are tile, socks with grip on the bottom are the best thing ever!  I did not even realize such a thing existed and now I own multiple pairs and live in them all winter long.  I also added the Kate Spade Card Holder to my stocking gift list.  I love mine!  I put all my basics in there and then put it inside my big wallet.  Whenever I change to a clutch or small crossbody bag, I just grab it and go.  So easy!!  I have been wearing this Formula X for Sephora nail polish in the Infinite color on the blog lately.  I found this nail polish while perusing my local Sephora on my lunch break.  I fell in love with the color in the store.  When I tried it out the first time, I was even more impressed that I only needed one coat!  I usually paint my nails myself because I like to change the color quite a bit.  Only needing one coat is such a great time saver!  Now get out there and get shopping because time is running out!

Last weekend marked my first Christmas party of the season!  This week, I am heading to an office holiday party held at a home.  I want a look that is in between fancy in a cocktail dress and casual with jeans and a cute top –  a holiday look with a little sparkle! I love the sleek look of all black, and the blazer keeps it a little dressed up and professional.  You could even pair with a dark red jacket to add a little holiday color.  The sparkle is my favorite part of this outfit.  I love anything with sequins on it!   Black sequins are great for office parties where you want to be a little more subtle sparkly.  I think they keep the outfit a little more business professional and look great popping through under the blazer.  The best sparkle on this outfit is definitely the shoes!  I have a slight shoe addiction, and these silver sparkly glitter shoes were definitely a pair that fed into my addiction.  I do not get many wears out of them, but when I do they are definitely show stoppers!  I think every woman needs that great pair of shoes that are for nothing more than to wear for fun and to party!  These shoes definitely do that!

Remixing another piece from a previous post today!  The darker magenta color of this skirt makes it a great transitional piece to carry me into every season!   While normally I love pairing a pencil skirt with a loose and flowy top, the cooler temperatures have me reaching for oversized sweaters instead.  It still gives you that same juxtaposition I love with a pencil skirt and flowy top, but keeps you a little warmer.  I am so in love with this sweater.  It is so incredibly comfortable!!!   I can’t wait to pair this sweater with jeans and boots further into the winter season or just to lounge in around the house with a pair of leggings.  The sweater is going to look great for a casual family gathering and is a classic style that I can wear for years.  I am also having a a remix moment with my boots today pairing them with a skirt instead of my normal jeans.  To keep over the knee boots office friendly, I try to keep a 2 inch rule between my skirt and the top of the boot.  Since I am a bit on the short side, I think the few inches between skirt and boot help make me look a little taller.  After all when you are petite, it is great to be able to give the illusion of height especially with no heel involved.  Hope ya’ll are having an amazing  week!  We are almost to the halfway mark!

Just a few weeks ago, I was wearing this dress draped in pearls, but today I am transitioning to fall with the addition of this beautiful cardigan from Modcloth.  Warning- this cardigan sells out quick!  As soon as I saw it available I snatched one up!  The addition of the cardigan makes the dress from my previous post almost unrecognizable and really transforms the look into a whole new outfit!  I love the classic and sophisticated look of this cardigan.  I also love that I can restyle it into another outfit and dress up a white t-shirt and black skinny jeans for a great weekend look.  If you have not snatched up this clutch yet, then you are in luck because it is on sale!  I love using this purse for post work events because it is big enough to hold some of my everyday items like a makeup bag, full-size wallet and cell phone.  It also comes in a beautiful olive green if you want something fun and different yet still a fall color.
