What I Wore This Month + Black Friday Sales
Happy Black Friday Sales Day!! A few key items on my shopping list today – a chance to repurchase my faux leather leggings that I accidentally tossed, my exfoliating shampoo that’s great for cleaning out dry shampoo buildup, and some new workout clothes. Plus, I have plans to cross off some items on my gift shopping list. What are you shopping for this sale weekend?
With the close of another month, it’s time for my monthly what I wore roundup which features a little more fall and winter looks than October. I also included a few loungewear looks because ’tis the season for all the cozy things! As an added bonus, many items are currently on sale. Yesterday, we celebrated Thanksgiving with my family and all the food! Tomorrow, we are off to celebrate with my boyfriend’s family. I’m kinda glad to have a day between to let all the food digest. Have you started any sale shopping yet?? I’m planning to start tackling my shopping list tonight, since many sales have already started. I have a busy few days ahead, so I think getting a little shopping done early will help free up some time later in the week when I’ll be with friends and family.
Continuing with the Holiday Gift Guide series, today I’m bringing you Christmas gift ideas under $25. Many of these would be perfect for Secret Santa and gift exchange parties. You could also pair some of them together for to make a bigger gift like the sleep mask, jade roller, and coffee mug or monogrammed wine stopper and wine carrier or the foot massager and cozy slippers. Lots of mix and matching possibilities here.
A few standout items:
Wine Carrier – It’s insulated and holds 3 bottles of wine, plus has space for a wine opener. I mean it’s just perfect! If you have a friend who loves wine, this would be a great gift. I also think it would be perfect for a White Elephant gift exchange party.
Cozy Slippers – Another good gift exchange idea! I have wood floors and love slippers on cold mornings and evenings. I’ve heard these are super comfy and cozy, plus super cute! They come in a few other colors too.
Foot Massager – This massager looks amazing! I think it would be fabulous to use after a day in heels or a workout. If you aren’t sure what to give someone, this massager is a good universal gift idea.
Travel Coffee Cup – I found this on Oprah’s Favorite Things list and had to share it with ya’ll! Perfect for the coffee lover in your life! This cup is great for hot liquids, dishwasher safe, has a no drip lid, and comes in a variety of cute colors and different sizes. Add in a Starbucks Gift Card for a little bonus treat.

Chic Office Holiday Party Outfit
Happy Thanksgiving Week!! After I get through the short work week, I have 4 days filled with family, friends, and food. I cannot wait. Oh and sale shopping! I have my shopping list ready to go for Friday! I’m planning to share some sales in my post on Friday too. I’m also going to share my what I wore this month post on Friday, since I’m sure many of the items I wore over the past month will be on sale. A little something to look forward too!
Can you believe we are just one week away form December?!?! I put up my Christmas decorations yesterday, and the holiday party invites are starting to trickle in. Many companies throw some sort of holiday party, so I wanted to share a chic office holiday party outfit that isn’t a dress. This outfit would work for any type of cocktail type party you have, but I really think it would be a great for work party.
The base of the outfit – pencil skirt and satin blouse – would work in an office setting. To transition this outfit combo to an evening event, I added in fabrics you may shy away from in the office like faux leather and lace. A leather pencil skirt is a must have for fall and winter happy hours and events. It’s instantly can make any outfit look chic and sophisticated. I mean you can toss a slightly oversized sweater over this skirt and still look polished. It’s a great staple to have on hand for any last minute party invites.
I’ve eyed this top at the store a few times, and I finally decided to try it on. I have a few other tops in this style without lace that are great for the office. The addition of lace on this one gives it a special detail to stand out from the others. You can also pair this top with jeans for a casual date night or girls’ night out. I would recommend wearing a black bra underneath it. It’s just slightly low cut and your bra may show with movement. Oh, and I forgot to mention that both my top and skirt are on sale right now!

Black Metallic Top for All Your Holiday Parties
It’s that time of year, bring out all the metallic details and sequins! If ever there was a time for getting away with wearing sequins and metallics, it’s the holiday season. You can wear them to Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas parties, holiday happy hours, and New Year’s Eve parties. Every year, I add something new to the mix.
Since my NYE plans are shaping up to be pretty low key this year, so far I haven’t added a new sequin top. I’m really considering a cute sequin cami though to pair under a blazer. It’s the perfect outfit to look super chic with a little sparkle.
What I did opt for this year was a top with a hint of metallic detailing. This black metallic top will be perfect to carry me through the entire holiday season. The details are subtle enough for a casual Thanksgiving dinner, chic enough for a holiday happy hour, and pair this top with a black leather skirt for a fabulous office party or NYE event.
This top has a few other details that I love to make it feel a little dressier like sheer sleeves and a cute smocked cuff at the wrist. I wore a cami underneath it. If you are wanting to wear this to work or a family event, it may be a little to low cut. For parties, I think it would be fine.
