How to Wear Overalls this Summer
How to Wear Overalls this Summer
If these overalls look a bit familiar, I styled the medium blue shade of these for you last spring with a cute way to dress up overalls. I love the lighter shade of these overalls for summer and wanted to share an easy summer outfit idea with a few closet basics. This casual way to wear overalls will be perfect for running errands or a casual day at home. The lighter color and looser fit make these perfect for a hot summer day.
The bottom of these overalls roll up to create the perfect length for us petite gals. I added my embellished sandals to add just a hint of sparkle to the outfit. With these overalls being loose fitting throughout, a fitted tank top is the perfect way to balance the proportions. It helps show a little shape and keeps the look from overwhelming my shorter height.

Casual White Dress for Summer
Casual White Dress for Summer
Hello Hot Summer Days! We hit an early heat wave this month which I’m sure means it is going to be a HOT one this summer. Bring on the lightweight fabric and breezy dresses. A casual white dress for summer is a must have when the heat is on. The light color helps keep you cool. I love looking for loose fitting and flowy silhouettes to let air flow. This dress is 100% cotton which is a great breathable summer fabric.
I love the eyelet details, subtle ruffle trim, and embroidered details to give this dress a little bit of statement factor. I dressed it up with my braided heel sandals. You could also toss on a pair of flat sandals for a casual look. If you want to add a little definition to the waist, you can add a belt. This will make it a bit shorter. Also, this dress is lined which makes it not see through at all.

Geo Print Empire Waist Blouse
Geo Print Empire Waist Blouse
Hello friends! I hope your Spring season is going well! We had a super busy April, and I’ve spent the first few weeks of May catching up and getting back into a routine. We also had a chance to shoot some fabulous new outfits for the blog that I cannot wait to share.
I wore this business casual outfit a couple weeks ago. I think it would also be perfect for date night or girls’ night out. The brown geo print empire waist blouse has a fun print and flirty silhouette. To transition this square neck top from office to happy hour, pull the sleeves down to create a cute off the shoulder look. The colors of this top will make it work perfect in fall too. I’m thinking black skinny jeans and brown or black tall boots.
For spring, I paired it with my dressier dark blue bootcut jeans and these super affordable braided block heel sandals. I love the ease of slide sandals, and this pair has been on major repeat this season. I sized up a half size.

Two Ways to Wear a Button Down Shirt
TWO WAYS TO WEAR A BUTTON DOWN SHIRT
A button down shirt is an easy item to quickly transition into multiple outfits and across several seasons. I’m featuring two ways to wear a button down shirt that will work for this spring and summer season. A bonus third look, make this cute colorful top work as a swimsuit cover up. Its the perfect length for it!
First outfit idea – A pastel coral orange color like this one will be perfect paired with an all white ensemble. You could easily wear this open like a short kimono or for a chic polished look tie this top at your waist. I love how this defines the waist line and adds a little length to the leg. I folded the back part of the shirt up to give the shorter top look all around. Since this has a dressier look to it, I paired it with my braided heeled sandals. The perfect Spring outfit for lunch, brunch or a colorful happy hour.
Second outfit idea – To carry this top into summer, I paired it with a white tank top and ripped shorts. I kept the top open to give that kimono airy vibe and rolled up the sleeves to mix up the look even more. My flat sandals are the perfect pairing for this summer vacation inspired look.
The front of this top includes the prettiest lace detailing. You need to wear a top underneath it. I opted for white in both looks, but you could play with different pops of color like yellow or pink to change up the look of this top a little bit more.
