Warm Fall Outfit Idea | Blue Floral Blouse

The calendar may say fall, but our weather is still saying end of summer.  Living in Texas, I know a think our two about creating a warm fall outfit idea or two.  One of my top tips, look for lightweight and breathable tops.  This blue floral blouse is the perfect example for a warm fall outfit idea.

This square neck blouse is a lightweight and breathable cotton material.  The flowy babydoll style of this top adds to the breezy and breathable need for a warm fall outfit.  Once you have material and style down, you need a great fall print.  This navy floral print is PERFECT for fall!  It pairs perfectly with dark blue jeans.  You could also wear it with black jeans and boots or booties.

Want to wear this top in the Spring?  It would work really well with a pair of white jeans.  The white in the jeans will really help the white in the floral print pop!  Size note on this top, it does run a little big.  I’m wearing an XS.

For all of my petite gals, these cropped jeans are a great length for us.  Cropped jeans are a great way to keep the frayed hem and flare since they don’t need alterations.  These jeans also have the perfect amount of stretch and keep their shape and fit throughout the day.  I did go down one size in these jeans.

OH the fall dresses are so good this season!  I’ve rounded up 12 fall dresses including long sleeve and sleeveless options.  Well 13 if you count the short sleeved floral favorite of mine in the first photo.  Sleeveless dresses are a great option for layering under a cardigan or jacket.  They also work great for the beginning of fall when it’s still a little warm outside. As the weather cools down or if you work in a colder office, you can transition over to long sleeve dresses.
