Burnt Orange Cotton Blouse + White Jeans

Burnt Orange Cotton Blouse + White Jeans
Earth tones paired with white pants is such a great summer combo. The print on this burnt orange cotton blouse really pops next to the white of the jeans. It really helps the detailing of this gorgeous print shine. In addition to the print, this top has tasseled cords at the neckline with just the right amount of sleeve volume thanks to the elastic band. With the volume in the top, I like this paired with skinny jeans and nude colored wedge sandal. If you wanted to pair with a bootcut or flare jean, I would simply tuck it in to create a little waist definition and break up the volume.
While it’s a great color for summer, burnt orange will also transition perfectly to fall when paired with dark blue or black jeans. You can add booties or boots to complete the fall look for this top.
Sizing Notes: I’m wearing a small in the top. While it is a boxy fit, the elastic on the sleeves can feel a bit snug so the small was a more comfy fit. I sized up one in the jeans.

Chic Knit Turtleneck Tank for Summer

Chic Knit Turtleneck Tank for Summer
Last week, we enjoyed a fabulous weekend vacation in Florida. It was a fun and relaxing trip filled with many beach days and time with friends. We were welcomed back to Houston with 100 degree temps, and Steve and I decided to move our photo shoots indoors this summer. I feel like it’s going to be a hot one this year, and we will probably be spending lots of time at the pool to keep cool.
A knit top might seem a bit of an odd choice for a hot summer but this chic knit turtleneck tank is really breathable. It’s a loose knit that I layered over a white cami. I love the ivory shade to mix with a variety of colors like white denim, colorful cotton shorts, and these medium blue frayed hem jeans. This knit top is perfect for the office too!
For all my petite gals looking for frayed hem jeans this season, this ankle length pair is perfect. They hit at the perfect length to pair with flats and heels on my 5’3 height.
Sizing Notes: After reading reviews, I sized up 2 on this top to a medium. I’m glad I did because that size fit perfectly. The jeans are a true to size fit, and sandals are a 1/2 size up.

Dark Pink Minidress

Dark Pink Minidress
How fun is this dark pink minidress? I love all the different details and how they work so perfectly together. I wore this dress originally for Easter lunch with a pair of flat sandals. The flowy style was perfect for overindulging in Easter sweets. 😉 It’s perfect to dress up with a pair of wedges for brunch or an afternoon bridal/baby shower.
This mini dress comes in 3 colors, white, light green, and this gorgeous dark pink shade. This dress is filled with so many little details that work perfectly together like the windowpane print, ruffle details, and cute button detailing. This dress does come with a detachable slip underneath that also has adjustable straps. The fit is oversized, so I went with an XS size.

Geo Print Empire Waist Blouse

Geo Print Empire Waist Blouse
Hello friends! I hope your Spring season is going well! We had a super busy April, and I’ve spent the first few weeks of May catching up and getting back into a routine. We also had a chance to shoot some fabulous new outfits for the blog that I cannot wait to share.
I wore this business casual outfit a couple weeks ago. I think it would also be perfect for date night or girls’ night out. The brown geo print empire waist blouse has a fun print and flirty silhouette. To transition this square neck top from office to happy hour, pull the sleeves down to create a cute off the shoulder look. The colors of this top will make it work perfect in fall too. I’m thinking black skinny jeans and brown or black tall boots.
For spring, I paired it with my dressier dark blue bootcut jeans and these super affordable braided block heel sandals. I love the ease of slide sandals, and this pair has been on major repeat this season. I sized up a half size.
