I warned you last week, I live in oversized sweaters and skinny jeans in winter! While I own multiple brands of jeans, my go to brand is definitely Lucky Brand Jeans. I love how long lasting and durable their jeans are. I have had several pairs since college, and they are still in great shape. On my “skinny days”, I still wear them too! The price of their jeans is not too bad either. The pair I’m wearing today is regularly priced $99, but they are currently 40% off!! These black skinny jeans are a thinner material than normal denim, and a have a little stretch to them which is nice this time of year with all the amazing holiday foods and cocktails. How gorgeous is this sweater! I recently fell in love with the BB Dakota brand. They make gorgeous clothes like this sweater or this jacket from my posts last week. They also have a great price point, so you will not break the bank stocking up on some of their gorgeous pieces. I am currently eyeing this amazing sequin skirt for New Year’s Eve! I always feel this time of year money gets a little tight, because I love buying gifts for others! It’s the shopaholic in me. It is nice to have great quality brands at good prices so I can still pick up a few fabulous pieces for myself! What are some of your favorite brands for affordable prices? Remixing another piece from a previous post today! The darker magenta color of this skirt makes it a great transitional piece to carry me into every season! While normally I love pairing a pencil skirt with a loose and flowy top, the cooler temperatures have me reaching for oversized sweaters instead. It still gives you that same juxtaposition I love with a pencil skirt and flowy top, but keeps you a little warmer. I am so in love with this sweater. It is so incredibly comfortable!!! I can’t wait to pair this sweater with jeans and boots further into the winter season or just to lounge in around the house with a pair of leggings. The sweater is going to look great for a casual family gathering and is a classic style that I can wear for years. I am also having a a remix moment with my boots today pairing them with a skirt instead of my normal jeans. To keep over the knee boots office friendly, I try to keep a 2 inch rule between my skirt and the top of the boot. Since I am a bit on the short side, I think the few inches between skirt and boot help make me look a little taller. After all when you are petite, it is great to be able to give the illusion of height especially with no heel involved. Hope ya’ll are having an amazing week! We are almost to the halfway mark!

I am so excited the weekend is almost here! My best girlfriends and I are getting together for a little Christmas Soiree and I am ready for some long overdue catching up and gossip! On weekends in winter, I pretty much live in skinny jeans, a sweater and boots or booties! I love winter sweaters that are a little oversized and have feminine detailing. The details on this one are so gorgeous! When I wear a top with such beautiful details, I usually skip any kind of necklace or go for something super short. I do not want to detract from the beauty of the top. This is my first pair of jeggings or jean leggings, and I must say they are quite comfy! I was searching for black distressed skinny jeans when I came across these for under $90, so I decided to give them a try. I kind of like the thinner material because they do not feel so suctioned up tight like with a thick jean and they fit easier inside boots. No, I am not giving up my skinny jeans, after all I just picked these up on Cyber Monday, but I will definitely consider buying another pair of jeggings.
