Pink Long Sleeve Top

Well, if I had a fall work uniform, this would probably be it. I’m pretty lucky and get to wear jeans on the my at the office days. I still want to look polished and professional, and I think these dark wash bootcut jeans do just that. Dark blue jeans always give you a more dressed up look to their lighter blue counterparts. Black jeans are another color that can work in a business setting. While I definitely will rock a pair of dark wash skinny jeans to the office, the bootcut and flared style feel a little more dressy and professional.
This long sleeve pink top is the perfect pairing with the dark blue jeans. I love how the pink pops against the darker color. I chose warm brown accessories to really play with the warm tone of the pink. Ya’ll these sleeves are so fun! I love a big balloon sleeve and the ruffle detail at the bottom is just the icing on the cake! Also, this top is longer and will also work paired over leggings. Picture it with faux leather leggings and suede boots for a holiday event.
Sizing Note: This top runs really big, so size down one or two sizes. For the jeans, I’m wearing the petite length. These jeans have stretch, so I would order your true size.

Casual Fall Friday Style

Happy Friday and Happy almost Weekend! If you need some casual Friday outfit inspiration, I have you covered today. This easy breezy look will also work for your weekend. I feel like this short sleeve button down style is such a classic look and can help make your casual style look a bit more polished. The blue and white stripe color will also work in the Spring making this a great multi-season top.
For fall, I tossed on my go to pair of dark blue skinny jeans. Seriously this are so good! I’ve had these for a few years, so they faded a bit. I love the hint of stretch so they are really comfy. They also hold their shape and don’t get baggy even with repeated wears.
My brown suede slides were one of my NSale purchases this year. I started with a white pair in 2020. I loved and wore them so much that I knew I was going to buy this brown pair as soon as I saw them in the preview. Slides are a great shoe to quickly throw on and toss off if you like being barefoot at your desk like me. The loafer style and gold buckle elevate the look and give it a super chic vibe. The front part is a good length so these are pretty easy to walk in. Be careful about slides with too short of a front part covering your foot. I find them harder to walk in because sometimes they don’t stay on the foot well.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! We have a few small but fun gatherings with friends and family that I’m really looking forward to!

Easing In to Fall Outfits

Oh Hello October! I guess it’s time to start easing into more fall outfit ideas! I’m all about trying to find ways to mix and match my wardrobe items across seasons. This fun summer babydoll tank top was an easy one to transition into fall. The colors are a fun summer bold, but lean to the slightly darker side making them pair perfectly with a pair of dark blue flared jeans and brown suede heels for a fall outfit. If your fall is on the warmer side like mine, this outfit would be perfect for a date night or brunch on a patio.
My flared jeans get so much use in the fall! I love how they create a dressier look and look great paired with heels. I tried to grab another pair during the NSale, but they sold out fast. Luckily, the price is in the affordable range, so I’ll probably still be adding a new pair soon.

Wrap Midi Skirt

Well Hello Friends!! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve shared a blog post! I meant to take a week off while on my July vacation, but that turned into a couple months when we returned and wedding planning kicked into high gear. It’s officially wedding week, and I am so excited this week is finally here. After 9 months of planning and working with some amazing wedding vendors, I cannot wait to see everything come together this weekend.
I’m going to be sharing lots of wedding posts next month, so get ready! But until then I have some end of summer fashion as well as summer to fall transitional outfits to share with you.
Bodysuits are growing on me, so expect to see more as I ease my wardrobe into fall. This crewneck one looks just like a basic sleeveless tee without having to worry about your top coming untucked. It helps create a smooth line at the top of your skirt which I think can help give a more defined waist. This one is going to be easy to layer under cardigans and pair with jeans this fall. I’m wearing this in size small.
A few weeks ago, I paired my bodysuit with this cute wrap midi skirt for a wine night. The movement on this skirt is gorgeous! It’s a true wrap skirt with a small button on the waist line to help secure in place. I think this skirt runs small, so I would consider sizing up.
Stay tuned later this week, I have the perfect dress for an outdoor fall wedding!
