Happy Monday!

I feel like my weekend flew by! I spent most of the weekend working on blog stuff, but the super boring stuff on the backend of my site.  The stuff that takes time and just sitting down and devoting a day to it.  Don’t worry I did get out and enjoy some sunshine too.

I wore this outfit last weekend to a blog workshop.  The workshop was held at a hotel conference room, so I immediately knew I would probably be cold.  I immediately decided I was going to wear jeans.  My distressed jeans were perfect because they have stretch to them, which makes them perfect for long hours of sitting.  I saw they were on sale as a price match, so if you are thinking about them snatch them quick because I don’t know how long they will be on sale.  Oh and size down, they stretch out!!

I decided to stick with my comfy, but fashionable vibe with this top.  I had just picked it up  like the week before.  I love the oversized comfy vibe it has.  I love wearing skinny jeans and oversized tops pair perfectly with them.  This top was great for the workshop because it was just that right amount of comfy I wanted but also still looked cute.

I actually didn’t wear these shoes because it was a super rainy day.  I opted for an old pair of wedges that I knew could handle walking through giant puddles and rain storms.   Although now that I think about it, I totally wore these on a walking tour in the rain in Charleston, so they probably would have worked too.

One blog workshop must have is a big tote bag! I love this one because it’s reversible, so it always works with my outfit. 🙂  I was able to carry my computer, umbrella, small crossbody, and a few snacks all in this tote.   This bag is my go to for any event I attend where I am bringing my laptop.

I hope you all have a fabulous week, I am just counting down to that long 3-day weekend ahead!!
