This should come as no surprise, I bought a sleeveless work blouse during the Nordstrom Sale. I had like 4 or 5 on my wishlist… I love the lace detail on this one, and the gray color. It was different than all the others and had a timeless feel to it. The waist has a cinched band, so I decided to pair it with my wide leg trousers. I love the fitted top and wide leg together.
I have talked about my love for the skinny work pants before, and these pants come in a close second. They have some stretch to them and are a thick material. I find them really comfortable. I tend to buy most of my work pants from Loft because the petite size is the perfect length for me. (I’m 5’3) I do find their pants stretch with wear so keep that in mind when ordering.
If you are trying to decide which pant style to wear with which top, I look at the fit of each. With a skinny leg, I usually opt for my flowy and tunic tops. Although I would totally pair with fitted too. With a wide leg, I opt for my more fitted tops or classic button downs. During winter, I pair them with my ribbed sweaters and turtlenecks. You could even try tucking in a fitted tee to create a more casual work ensemble.
I have a dentist appointment today, and I’m really excited. I used to hate going to the dentist, but now I really like it as long as I don’t have any cavities or need extra work done. That whole clean teeth feeling afterwards is fabulous. Thanks for swing by and have a great day!
