Hello Lovelies! Hope ya’ll had a wonderful weekend. We meant to be more productive, but then ended up watching National Treasure instead. We’ve seen both so many times, but it still sucks us in every time. Anyone else watch a good movie over the weekend?
Anyway, I wore this outfit to date night a couple weeks ago. It was the perfect outfit for the casual fancy restaurant. This ruffle one shoulder top is a chambray like material. It has a denim look, but it’s very lightweight. I’m going to love the lightweight part for summer. I say this every time, but I think this is the last one shoulder top I’m going to buy…. until I found another irresistible one. 🙂

I feel like whenever you see chambray in Spring, it’s primarily paired with white pants or shorts. For an edgier night look, I decided to pair my chambray top with black skinny jeans. I did add some Spring accessories with my white earrings and colorful block heel sandals, so it still felt bright and springy.
Ya’ll I’m obsessed with these white earrings. I’m preparing you now, you will see them many more times this season. I didn’t realize how much I needed a white statement earring until these arrived in the mail. White goes with everything, and it really pulls an outfit together where prints and multiple colors are involved.

Hi Ladies! Happy Friday!
I just adore a white on white outfit for Spring. It’s just something so fresh and clean about the look. I will be honest though, this is more of an every now and again look for me for fear of all the potential stains. 🙂 Although, I do get a little braver every time I survive without incident.
When I wear monochromatic or neutral outfits, I love adding in fun pops of color like these heels. I found them while on the hunt for a fun block heel sandal for the summer. According to friends, the block heel is way more comfortable than a stiletto. I think it will work better for walking on grass or other uneven terrains too.
I originally considered these pink ones, but I liked the two tone coral and pink in this pair. It was different and fun, perfect for a punch of bright color. I have only worn them once to dinner, but they were comfy. I do think if you have a wider foot, the coral strap may be a bit snug on you.
Enjoy your weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello, Hello! Did everyone have a fabulous Easter weekend? After powering through my Saturday morning spin class, I spent most of Saturday spring cleaning, and then enjoyed Sunday with family. I ended up crashing at like 8 Sunday night, because I was so tired from all the fun.
I’m bringing ya’ll another chic outfit idea for Spring featuring this gingham off the shoulder top. This top has so many things I am obsessed with this season – gingham, off the shoulder, and bell sleeves. These sleeves have a band in them, so you can push them up slightly for a 3/4 sleeve look.

I love pairing gingham prints with white jeans. It feels so fresh and light for spring. I dressed this look up with my black heels (which are currently on major sale!), but you can add flat sandals or wedges to this look to make it more casual.
Also, can we talk about this choker necklace? I had mixed feelings when this trend came back, but it’s growing on me. I like this one because it’s a combo of choker and long necklace, plus I prefer the thinner look. My preference on tying the bow is always just slightly below or at the neckline of your top. What do ya’ll think? Have you jumped on the choker trend yet?
Hope you are having a great start to your week! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Friday! This week kind of flew by for me, and I am not complaining. I am very ready for Easter this weekend and a little family time. Ok and my grandma’s desserts too. 😉 Do ya’ll have any big plans this weekend?
Spring in Texas is some of our best weather. It’s warm with a breeze, sunny, and not too hot yet. Most weekends are spent outdoors, so I wanted to share a chic Spring outfit idea that could be worn to an outdoor affair. I think it would be cute to wear to Easter lunch or an evening wine night with your girlfriends, maybe on a patio with twinkle lights. Navy and white is such a classic and chic color combo, and one I love wearing. The stripes on this one give it a sophisticated feel, but it stays chic and trendy with the one shoulder ruffle detail.
These Stecy sandals are a popular shoe for warmer months. They pair perfectly with both pants and dresses. I love the barely their look and the nude shoe illusion of longer legs. They perfectly dress up any outfit. Before I bought these, I always worried they would be uncomfortable and my foot wouldn’t be supported enough. But I wore them so much last season including to my cousin’s wedding, and I didn’t have any big issues.
I wanted to close out today’s post to share about a slight shift in my posting schedule that will take place for a few weeks. I have been putting off doing some behind the scenes maintenance on my blog, mostly because it’s time consuming and not as fun a creating new posts. BUT I really do want be able to cross it off my to do list. So for a few weeks, I’m only going to be sharing posts twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. I’m hoping this will free up some time to work on all my behind the scenes fun without having to completely give up my social life. 🙂 Hopefully all the fingers crossed it will not take me too long, and I will be back to my regular posting schedule soon!
So I will see you Tuesday with another fabulous Spring look. Ya’ll enjoy this wonderful Easter weekend!
