Light blue and white is high up on my favorite spring color combos. I love the way the light blue looks against the crisp white denim. Add on my brown peep toe booties and you are looking at the perfect casual spring outfit for brunch, lunch, or a family event.
Besides the gorgeous blue color, the design of this off the shoulder top is perfection. The smock detailing helps hold the shoulders in place, but isn’t tight or restricting. The length hits that sweet spot for me too. The material is super lightweight, so it’s going to be perfect for warmer weather. Oh, and let’s not forget the cutest little bell sleeve detail. You can also pair this top with black or gray jeans and some nude wedges or heels for a different look maybe something a little more evening casual date night.
Ya’ll one of my favorite crossbody bags for summer is BACK! The cutout design on this bag gives it such a fun and unique look, and the ivory color makes it work with a wide array of outfits. It’s the perfect addition to any casual look.
I have such spring fever right now! Probably because now that all the cute spring stuff is out, we have this random cold weather. I had already packed away my sweaters and boots thinking winter was over. But hey, at least I got to wear my boots one last time! Hope ya’ll are having a great week, and don’t forget it’s the last few days to enter the Nordstrom Gift Card Giveaway! Find the entry form at the bottom of THIS POST.

Over the weekend, I purchased my first wedges of the season! They are on backorder until the end of the month, but I still started planning all the fun spring outfits to wear with them. Each season, I feel like I only gravitate to a couple trends, but this year I love almost all of them! The cold shoulder/one shoulder tops and colorful jewelry are probably my top two. I love adding colorful accessories to neutral outfits or doing a little color mixing. I think the blue accessories above would look adorable with both of those dresses.
You can definitely plan on seeing many of these trends here on the blog this season, because I want them all! You have to leave me a comment and let me know which trend is your favorite!! Maybe it will help me shrink my ever growing wish list. Also, if you want even more spring inspiration, I updated the Style Shop including what I have been buying so far this season.
Now, grab your coffee and get Spring inspired!

Floral Cold Shoulder Top + Spring Must Have Bag

Floral Cold Shoulder Top | Distressed Jeans | Nude Sandals | c/o Elaine Turner Sonata Bag | c/o Crystal Stud Earrings | Bangle Set (similar one and similar two) | Rayban Aviators | Nails: Essie Blanc | Lips: MAC Faux
We made it to Friday friends!! I am ready for a super relaxing weekend filled with Whole30 meal prep and reading my latest book, Big Little Lies. I read another book by the author a couple years ago, The Husband’s Secret, and finished in like 2 days it was so good. I have been waiting for this weekend to start reading, so that I could really get into it without distraction.
I ordered this top not 100% sure how I felt about the print online. I figured in person it was either going to look a little cheap or be gorgeous. Ya’ll when it came in the mail, I was so happy to see it was the gorgeous option. It has the prettiest romantic spring feel from the print to the color choices. I love this halter/cold shoulder design, because I think it can be flattering on an array of body types. I can picture it paired with white jeans or even a pair of white jeans shorts during the summer. You can also swap out my sandals for wedges to make the look more casual.
Another item giving me all the spring and summer feels is this beautiful bag. I really wanted a neutral bag to work with all the fun colors and prints of the season, but something with a little spark for days when I wear neutrals or all black. You know when you are looking for something, but can’t put a good enough description on it to tell someone. You’re just going to know it when you see it, that is this bag for me.
The bag is by Elaine Turner who is one of my favorite clutch designers, and she totally upped her clutch game by making the perfect clutch/crossbody hybrid with this bag. I tuck the strap into the back pocket of the purse when I want the clutch look for a party or happy hour. When I need my hands to hold champagne, play on my phone, or do a little shopping, the strap comes quickly back out. I also have to give props that the strap really fits in with the design of the bag and wasn’t just some quick add on. It’s like you have two bags and both are equally fabulous.
Alright I will stop gushing over my new bag, I really am quite obsessed with it though. Don’t forget the times changes this weekend. I’m never a fan of losing an hour in a day, but I will gladly take it for the longer daylight hours that follow!!! Ya’ll have a really good weekend, and I will have more spring must haves for your next week. See you then!

Black Crochet Top to Wear Year Round
| OUTFIT DETAILS |
Black Crochet Top | Similar Distressed Jeans | Yellow Fringe Sandals | Pink Clutch | Gold Earrings | Pave Links Bracelet | Similar Gold Bangle | Rayban Aviators | Nails: Essie Blanc | Lips: MAC Faux
And my love affair with black tops continues. I have a feeling this top will be in constant rotation year round. The crochet detailing on the sleeves and neckline is gorgeous and good quality. I have already washed this top, and the detailing still looks good as new. One thing I was pleasantly surprised and pleased about with this blouse is that the elastic cuffs at the bottom of the sleeves are not too tight. I hate when they are just a hair too tight and leave light marks on your skin. These are not tight at all and really don’t even come in contact with my skin the way a normal elastic band would. Unfortunately, my order for this top was originally delayed and now it’s sold out. They do have tons more cute black tops though! I had to stop looking, because I found a few more to buy. 😉
I mentioned on Friday that my gal pals and I were heading up to my college town for our sorority reunion. We had so much fun on our trip. It rained most of the time, so we didn’t get to walk around campus to see all the new buildings. But we did get to head to our sorority house and check out the remodeling they did and meet current collegiate members. I only wish the weekend would have been longer because I saw a few faces that I didn’t have the chance to catch up with.
Oh and for anyone wondering, the first couple days of Whole30 have gone surprisingly well. I haven’t had any crazy headaches, so yay to that! But I am having to learn to eat a bigger lunch, so I don’t end up starving before dinner and needing a snack. Going from all day grazer to 3 meals is currently my main challenge. Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you back here Friday!
