Accessory Love: Turquoise Y Choker Necklace

Hello friends! It has been a busy few days here in Houston. Everyone is preparing for Hurricane Harvey to drench pretty much the entire Texas coast starting today and going through mid next week. We’ve been prepping for a long weekend indoors. Fingers crossed, we don’t lose power because that always makes the situation more difficult.
Anyway enough weather talk, let’s talk about this outfit – mainly this super adorable necklace. I have been seeking out a few more turquoise jewelry pieces lately. This ring is high on my wish list! For me, turquoise jewelry adds that casual boho vibe to any outfit. This one is a pre-layered y choker necklace, so you just clasp at the back and have gorgeous necklace layers. The y dips low, so you add this to a deeper vneck to add a little sexiness to any outfit. You can also pair it with a crew neck tee and let all the layers fall on top the tee.
I loved the turquoise mixed with the purple of this tank. I think the colors compliment each other well. I saw this tank is currently sold out in this color. A few more color options were available, but going fast. I’m really hoping they bring it back in a few fall colors like olive, because it’s perfect for layering.
Alright you guys, thanks for stopping by the blog today. If you are in Houston or Texas, please stay safe and dry. Pending I don’t lose power, I will see you guys back here next week!

Easy Summer Outfit in Olive Pants

Happy Friday!!! This easy summer outfit has been on major repeat on my weekends lately. It’s comfy and easy to throw on, but it still has a chic put together feel to it. I kept my jewelry more basic less statement with lightweight and simple pieces. This outfit has been so perfect for running errands on all the HOT days we have had recently. You can also dress it up a bit with wedges and a statement jewelry piece for a casual party/lunch look.
I own these pants in pink (last seen here), and I think they are so comfy. The cotton twill material help keeps you a little cooler on hot days. Plus, the looser fit is oh so comfy. I really wanted olive pants, because I think it’s a good year round color. This olive to me is a bit more gray olive than green olive. I think they look greener on the site than they do in person.
I hope you guys have a great weekend, and thank so much for taking some time to stop by and visit today.

Gray Side Tie Tank & Statement Necklace + Link Up

Hello Ladies! I’m so excited to share this outfit with ya’ll today. When I originally saw this necklace, I pictured it styled with a casual crew neck tee or tank, pretty much exactly like this combo today. I love love love this casual glam mix. This outfit would be so fun for a date night with your special someone or wine night with your favorite gal pals.
This tank is designed with slits on the side, so you can really easily tie one side to achieve the super trendy knotted tee look. I like having the do it yourself option, so you can tie as high or low as you prefer. You can also leave it untied for an always chic tunic look.
Of course I had to pair this gray side tie tank with my white skinny jeans. I mean nothing pairs well with gray casual glam than chic white jeans. Also, I have to mention that my necklace is currently marked down along with a few other favorites seen here on the blog. I mean if you aren’t shopped out from the Nordstrom Sale, you should definitely check out some of these summer sale pieces!
