Casual New Year’s Eve Outfit
Happy Christmas Weekend! Can you believe it’s already here?!?!? I took a few days off work this week to finish up my holiday shopping and have a spa day. I think everyone should schedule a little mini spa day during December. I left feeling so refreshed and ready to continue tackling all the holiday things.
With Christmas pretty much here, it’s time to start planning the perfect NYE outfit. My plans tend to be a more low key, casual night at a friend’s house, so I love a casual New Year’s Eve outfit idea. I went with the super chic all black and this gorgeous gray vest to dress the look up a little and keep that super chic vibe.
This vest was one of my sale splurges during Black Friday from Club Monaco. I have been searching for a great classic blazer style vest I could use to dress up an outfit or pair with my spring dresses to make them more office friendly. I kept landing back on the Club Monaco site. So when I went to order my trench coat, I also checked out the vest section.
This gray color is even more gorgeous in person and is going to pair perfectly with spring pastels. I will be sure to style it again when the Spring weather hits. I also love the length and overall fit. I think it hits at just the right spot on my 5’3 frame. I opted to size down and order an XS to achieve a more fitted look. It comes with a belt, but I don’t plan on wearing it that way.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope every one of you has a very Merry Christmas weekend!

Red Christmas Sweater
Hello ladies! Christmas will be here before we know it, so I wanted to share this festive red Christmas sweater I picked up over Black Friday. This sweater is so warm and cozy. I love the oversized fit for a little dessert indulging. The cowl neck detail is a perfect little something extra on this sweater. I always love little details that take something a step above basic.
I noticed this sweater is still 30% off too! I paired it with my black jeans and slouchy boots. You could also go with leopard flats or blue jeans and brown boots.

Off the Shoulder Sweater
Happy Friday! I know it’s only the first week of December, but I think I’m ready to declare this my favorite outfit post of the month! It’s the perfect chic and effortless mix. I had to give this off the shoulder sweater trend a try. I found this gorgeous neutral toned sweater, and ya’ll I’m in love.
The cable knit design makes this sweater soft, warm, and cozy. The off the shoulder portion is actually really comfortable too. You never really know with off the shoulder, sometimes it can feel very restricting. I think this style really works with a sweater design with the large overhang like this one. The overlay helps hold the off the shoulder in place, and the loose knit helps you be able to move you arms.
Also, you can pop the material up to create a cowl neck sweater for the office. I did that HERE. I love that this sweater can be both classic office friendly and weekend trendy.
I love an all neutral look, so I went with my white jeans and nude heels on this one. To keep that earth tone feel, I also added on my stone pendant necklace. This outfit will definitely be making an appearance at an upcoming holiday party! If you want another option, you could do black jeans and brown boots too.
I hope ya’ll have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Asymmetrical Sweater & Link Up
Hello sweet friends! How was your weekend?? I launched my Holiday Gift Guide Series on Sunday, sharing a few gift ideas under $50. You can check it out here! I’m hoping to start posting an extra time each week, time permitting. So if you are bored on Sunday or want something to peruse, you can pop on over and see if I have anything going on. I have some fun post ideas in the works.
Okay, how perfect would this rust colored asymmetrical sweater be for Thanksgiving!! The color just screams fall and Thanksgiving. The asymmetrical design of the hem really caught my eye, because it was a little different than your average crew neck ribbed sweater. One feature I really like is the slits on the sleeves. I love my sleeves to be a bit on the longer side, and the slits help keep the sleeves out of your way when using your hands. I need to find more sweaters like this ASAP!
