Work to Date Night Long Sleeve Bodysuit
| OUTFIT DETAILS |
Long Sleeve Bodysuit | Black Skinny Jeans | Block Heel Sandals | c/o Baublebar Feather Earrings (old) | Links Bracelet | Cuff Bracelet | Pink Clutch | Nails: CND Cashmere Wrap
Hello Ladies! I warned you I had more sheer tops coming in the future! Look closely though, this sheer top is actually a bodysuit, and I’m kinda in love. The fact that this flowy chiffon look is also a bodysuit help keep that perfectly tucked in look all day or night. You can wear this out for a night of dancing without worrying about it coming untucked!
The sheer chiffon layer paired with the black cami is perfect to go from work day to date night. I pair this with a pencil skirt for the office, or you could also pair it with a pair of gray or colored slacks. To transition this long sleeve bodysuit to night, change into a pair of your favorite skinny jeans and heels or a cute little mini skirt with boots.
I opted to go sans a necklace and opt for a pop of color with my feather earrings and dark pink clutch. You could also go with stud earrings and a long pendant necklace for a different look.
Also because I feel it’s uber important info to have for all bodysuits, this one snaps at the bottom for easy bathroom access and has a thong fit on the bottom. Have you tried out a bodysuit yet? Love them or leave them?

Galentine’s Day Outfit Idea
Happy Friday!!! Who’s ready for the weekend? I have a mix of fun plans, relaxation, and blog work on the schedule, so it should be both a fun and productive weekend ahead of me.
I know we aren’t quite to February yet, but I couldn’t wait to share this gorgeous metallic striped top with you. I love this whole look as the perfect Galentine’s Day Outfit. It would also work for date night or just a regular girls’ night out. The metallic striped details dress up this classic black silhouette to give it a little bit of a statement factor. I love it for when your night might be low key, but you still want to feel a little fancy.
If your gal pals and you are having a Galentine’s Day party or dinner, I love the idea of wearing an all black look and going against the red and pink Valentine’s colors. Although, I would also wear this for a Valentine’s date night too, because it’s so perfect for date night. I added in black skinny jeans which can help make an outfit feel a little dressier even though you are still in jeans. This top needed some fabulous earrings, so I added in these gold statement earrings.
I hope you guys have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Let’s Go Skating! | What I Wore to a Roller Skating Party
Happy Friday!!! It’s been the busiest work week. I am so ready for this weekend. Last week, a few blogger pals and I headed to the local roller skating rink for a fun girls’ night out. It was so much fun. By the end of the night, we all had our skating moves down.
A local photographer joined us to snap some pics of our night out, #bloggerlife 🙂 Ya’ll, outfit photos in roller skates is no joke. The photographer was super awesome at helping me not look like I was about to fall. ha!
We sort of themed the night out 70s style, and I went with a jewel toned bodysuit, skinny jeans, and my double hoop earrings. Yes, I am officially in love with bodysuits. This one has super drape front top. I think it would be super cute with a long black lace bandeau underneath it. The drape will expose whatever you have on under it. I ended up just pinning it because I didn’t have anything I really liked that would look cute showing. If you want to check out the other girls’ outfits, I shared a group pic at the end of the post.
I hope you have a fabulous first weekend of summer! Thanks for stopping by!

So I Bought a Bodysuit…
Happy Friday!!! Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like bodysuits have been growing in popularity lately. I was a little unsure of them at first, but I finally decided I had to try one out. I ordered 3 different ones and trying them on made me feel a little like Goldilocks. One was too long, one was a bit too tight, but the third was absolute perfection. I figured I’d run through a few of my and my friends questions and concerns over bodysuits, in case you have any of the same ones.
Let’s start with the main one, how do you go to the bathroom in this thing? I feel like everyone who has ever headed out in a romper has had that moment when you suddenly realize that you have to take the whole thing off when it’s time to go the bathroom. Super glamorous, especially if this is taking place in a not so clean bathroom (think bars, concert port-o-potties). Needless to say, it causes me to make sure I really love a romper before purchasing. Here’s the great thing about bodysuits, someone thought to put snaps on the bottom! Think a baby’s onesie. No getting naked in the bathroom, just a few easy snaps.
Second, are they comfortable? The fit is just like a one piece swimsuit. I find mine comfortable. Just like with a swimsuit, you will probably have to try a few to find ones that fit your body type and that you feel comfortable in. I’m petite, so for me it’s finding one that is not too long. The bottom portion comes in either thong fit or full bottom, so it’s a pick your preference kind of thing.
What’s my favorite thing about them? I love that I don’t have to worry about my shirt coming untucked. This is one of those little annoyances of mine. A bodysuit will stay in place as you move or dance around.
What do you wear it with? Everything! Jeans, skirts, shorts. I can’t wait to wear this one with one of my pleated midi skirts soon.
Hopefully, my little bodysuit review was helpful if you have been considering one. In this one, I am wearing a US6. Let me know if you have any other questions, and I will be sure to answer them.
For today’s post, I styled my bodysuit for an upcoming girls’ night out. Dark wash skinny jeans, bright pink statement earrings, and floral statement heels come together to create the perfect show stopping outfit for a night out on the town. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, and thank you so much for stopping by!
