Summer Work Dress

| OUTFIT DETAILS |
floral print dress | slide sandals | layered necklace | earrings | bracelet 1 | bracelet 2
Hello Hello! A little workwear for this Wednesday. While I think this dress could work for a variety of events from shower guest to church to dinner with the gals, I think it shines as a work dress option for summer. As many of you are transitioning back into work clothes, a loose fitting shift dress is a great option to ease you out of your at home loungewear into office wear.
This dress has really fun and feminine details like flutter sleeves and a tiered ruffle skirt design to add some texture to the dress. I love all the different colors in the floral print. It kind of reminds me of a painting. You could easily toss on a colorful sandal, but I love pairing this with a nude color shoe to really help the print stand out. The v-neck design is perfect for pairing with a layered necklace. I do think it runs a little big. I’m wearing an XS in this dress, but could have worn a size smaller too since it’s loose fitting.

Pink Bow Tie Tank Top

pink bow tie tank top | white jean skirt | slide sandals | c/o stone bangles | necklace | earrings
Hello Hello and Happy Monday!! I’m so excited to finally have some summer outfits to share with you! The rain here has been crazy and made it so hard to get outfit photos. Earlier last week, I put my foot down and told Steve that we were going to just do the photos indoors that night. Sure enough the rain stopped that morning, and we finally got our shoot in! This means I have lots of fun new summer outfits coming in the next few weeks. AND since it’s July, it also means it’s time for Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Top tier cardholders start shopping today! Are you shopping the sale this year??
I’m planning to place my order later this week when my tier opens up. My coverage will be a bit different this year because right in the middle of the sale I am going on my first vacation in TWO years. I plan to take some time to relax and enjoy it, so I won’t be able to put all of my normal content together. BUT I still want to help you shop the sale where you need it. So let me know in the comments what style boards you would like to see this year whether it is a specific item or style like casual or workwear. I’m here for you.
Now let’s talk about this fun summer outfit! I wore this out July 4th weekend to a Friday happy hour with friends. We sat outside, and it is a heat approved outfit! I love the pink and white combo, it has such a stylish and chic vibe. The bows on the sleeves are my favorite part! Such a fun statement factor! This top is a thick knit and fitted. It also comes in 3 other colors if pink is not your favorite. I’m wearing a size small.
I love all the white bottoms for summer, so a white jean skirt was only a matter of time for me. This one has a high waisted fit, so I sized up one. It’s a good length and has just a bit of distressing which helps dress down fancier tops like my pink bow tie tank top. I tossed on some slide sandals and my go to stone bangles to complete this happy hour or brunch ready look.

What I Wore This Spring

It’s been awhile since I shared a what I wore post, but I didn’t have many chances to capture outfits this Spring. So I’m rounding up my spring outfits from the past few months into one fabulous post! It includes what I wore to my first bridal shower, a few casual errand running looks, some at home lounge outfits, and my Easter and Mother’s Day outfits.
The good news is that many of these items are still in stock, a few just in different colors. I’ve been doing a much better job at snapping outfit photos this past month, so we will be back to our regular monthly outfit shares with my June outfits. Stay tuned because I have some really fun outfits coming in that post. Hope you have a great last weekend of June!

Pink Bow Sandals

These pink bow sandals were a teeny tiny bit of an impulse buy, but one I defintely do not regret! I had my eye on this luxury pair at the start of 2020, but when we stopped going out I decided to put them on hold. When the spring season rolled around, I thought about buying again, but wasn’t 100% sure if I was ready to splurge on shoes when I’m still home so much. Then like an amazing gift, I spotted these on Instagram with the heading under $100 and without thinking I hit add to cart. I had my first bridal shower coming up in a week, and I knew these would be the perfect fun pop of color to pair with my white dress.
As soon as I pulled them out of the box, I knew I had made the right choice on these pink heels! I got my fun summer sandal and didn’t have to splurge. While I love these pink sandals with a summer white outfit, they are fun to pair with colors too! They were the perfect pairing for my pink striped puff sleeve top. The pinks all play together perfectly. You can also pair these with floral prints or bold solids like yellow or green.
Sizing Note: I went up a 1/2 size, and they fit perfectly! The length of the shoe is where I needed a slightly bigger size.
