Pastel Striped Cardigan Sweater
Welcome to Sweater Season!
This pastel striped cardigan sweater is so gorgeous in person! I think the colors are way prettier in person than on the store’s website. It’s brighter and more vibrant in person. I found this sweater on multiple sites, and I think the layout of the colors will vary slightly from sweater to sweater. The fun colors are perfect for mixing up my normal blacks, grays, and jewel tone colors of the fall and winter season.
In addition to being beautiful, this cardigan sweater is so soft and cozy! It’s perfect out and about with jeans and boots, but my favorite way to wear it so far has been with leggings while lounging around the house. I layer it with a white tank top because I think it brightens the colors in the sweater. You could also do a black or navy tank top. Another style option would be to leave the cardigan open and add along pendant necklace. The bright colors of the sweater work great with blue jeans, and distressed jeans create the perfect casual fall outfit.

Wide Collar Blouse
If I’m not going to have a statement sleeve, then give a statement collar! How fun and fabulous is this wide collar blouse! The small ruffle trim on the collar adds a little bit of a feminine touch which pairs perfectly with the red floral print! I wore this top for Thanksgiving with my bootcut jeans and to the office untucked with black skinny jeans. It works both ways.
I’m trying to branch out of my skinny jeans, so I decided to try these trouser style jeans. They feel like a cross between straight jeans and bootcut or flare jeans. They have a loose fit throughout the leg and are cut similar to dress slacks. Heads up, these are ankle jeans. It’s a little petite jean shopping trick of mine to avoid alterations. I find ankle jeans tend to hit right at the perfect spot which helps when they have a frayed hem like this pair.

Navy Blue Tiered Midi Dress
Happy Cyber Monday! Did you do any sale shopping yet? We were able to get a new vacuum and Christmas tree on sale, and we crossed off many items on our gift list! If you need a chic and comfy dress this fall, meet your new navy blue BFF. I wore this outfit to an outdoor baby shower earlier this month. This navy blue tiered midi dress has fun statement details like the puff sleeve and tiered design. Also, did you see those pockets?? The front part buttons up, but the material is stiff and stays pretty closed together. This dress would be great for work too! You could add a denim jacket or blazer to add a little more shape to the look.
With the high neckline and solid color of the dress, I added in a long pendant necklace to help break up the color of the dress. I wore this outfit to an outdoor party, so booties were a must and I love how it gives the whole outfit a more western casual feel. Heels would dress this up a bit more.

Black Half Zip Pullover Sweater
In my last post, we talked about slipping out of our comfies and into our holiday party wear. In case your holidays will still look a little more cozy comfy this year, I would love to recommend this black half zip pullover sweater. I’ve worn it with leggings for a lazy day at the house and tossed it on with jeans to head out of the house.
The gold half zip design and statement collar make this stand out from your basic sweatshirt or pullover design. It comes in a few colors, but I think black always has a more chic look to it. The ivory color would also be a good choice for casual chic attire.
Keeping with the casual theme, I paired this pullover sweater with my dark blue jeans and white sneakers. With sneakers, I like to slightly cuff the bottom of my jeans. I think showing just a hint of ankle helps us petite gals look taller.
