I know when I Christmas shop I tend to have a price range in mind, so I wanted to create a couple gift guides with that in mind. I’m starting with some fabulous gift ideas under 50. I’m kind of in love with everything on this list. I definitely have a few of these items on my personal wish list like the scarf and cute little sleep mask. All these gifts would be great for gift exchanges and Secret Santa parties. I love gifting beauty kits for the holidays. For starters, they are usually a good value with 3-5 products in each kit. I always love getting to sample new products, and this gives you that opportunity. Lots of beauty brands make these just for the holidays, so you can also pick up one for yourself if you have a brand you want to try out. If you want more gift ideas, check out my Gift Guide Under $50 page. I’m constantly updating it with new ideas I come across.
I figured I would add a little holiday shopping tip to these posts, because I am an online shopping addict who has learned a little along the way! Today’s Tip – Check the returns policy! I primarily shop at stores with free shipping and returns. If you are shopping now for Christmas, check the returns guidelines to make sure the gift can still be returned in January if needed. Most stores extend their return policy during the holidays from the normal 30 days to 60 or even 90 days.

My 1st Pair of Leather Leggings
| DETAILS |
EXPRESS Extreme Circle Hem Sweater | EXPRESS Scuba Leggings | WHITE MOUNTAIN Carmella Suede Boots | GIGI NY All in One Bag | GORJANA Taner Pave Bar Necklace, Mia Necklace, Aldridge Earrings | BAUBLEBAR Slim Hinge Bangle, Pave Links Bracelet, Ladder Cuff | RAYBAN Aviator Sunglasses | ESSIE Nail Color in Plumberry | MAC Lipstick in Faux
After years of looking and indecisiveness, I finally did it. I bought my first pair of leather leggings! Well sort of leather. I have wanted a pair for a couple years because they look super chic. I love how they dress up an outfit for winter. I was hesitant because 1) I have watched that Friends episode where Ross wears leather pants one too many times and 2) they seem uncomfortable and not super forgiving. I was intrigued by these leggings because they are not actually leather or that super thin faux leather, but rather a scuba type material. I also liked that they have a more matte look versus the super shiny you see in some pairs. I tried them on 100% expecting to hate them. These leggings are actually really comfortable and fit like my normal comfy cotton and gym leggings. They are soft on the inside too. I imagined it would be sticky and uncomfortable, and would make loud swishing sounds when I walked, but it didn’t! I personally think the scuba material is a little bit more forgiving than thinner leggings, but I would still only wear tunics or long sweaters with these.
Before I purchased I also checked the washing instructions, because I had no idea how to wash something like this. The directions say to turn inside out and machine wash on gentle, lay flat to dry, and do not dry clean. Those directions work perfect for me, as that is generally how I wash many of my clothes. I haven’t officially worn them out yet, but I did lounge a bit around my house in them after taking these photos. 🙂 I told you they are comfortable. I absolutely love them paired with this red sweater. It is going to be that perfect semi-casual holiday party or happy hour outfit. This sweater has 3/4 length sleeves which is perfect for Texas winter, because we tend to overcompensate sometimes with our heaters once the temps dip below 50. I usually end up pushing my sleeves anyway at friends’ houses, so I like that the sleeves are shorter. This sweater comes in multiple colors too! Happy Monday Ya’ll and thanks for stopping by today!

The Perfect Thanksgiving Outfit
| DETAILS |
OLD NAVY Classic V-Neck Sweater in Blackberry Jamming | WHBM Skinny Jeans | ENZO ANGIOLINI Holdyn Over the Knee Boots [ON SALE HERE] | HENRI BENDEL c/o West 57th Satchel | KENDRA SCOTT Harlie Necklace, Grady Bracelet | GORJANA Zion Necklace, Chloe Studs | BAUBLEBAR Slim Hinge Bangle | RAYBAN Aviator Sunglasses | ESSIE Nail Polish in Plumberry | MAC Lipstick in Craving
Of all three looks this week, I think this just might be my perfect Thanksgiving outfit! A light sweater, tall boots, and a little statement jewelry is one of my go-to fall outfits. I love the casual aspect of this outfit with the pullover sweater and jeans. These riding boots are just slightly over the knee which creates a bit of a different look than my normal riding boots. I purchased these boots last fall, but I found them still available! While the boots keep this look a little dressed down, I made sure to still add a little something sparkly with my Harlie necklace. I love the iridescent white stone from Kendra Scott. At times you only see a white stone, but as you move and the light hits it you see the different colors bouncing off of it. My pictures honestly do not do this beautiful stone its justice! This look is a little bit relaxed casual and a little bit dressed up casual which is why for me it is just perfect!
I hope you enjoyed all the Thanksgiving outfit inspiration this week, and hopefully found a few ideas for the holiday or just for the fall season. I am off to the Nutcracker Market today with some girlfriends. The market is huge and amazing, and one of my favorite things to do in Houston in November. I take off work every year to attend. The market is filled with boutiques, holiday decorations, gift ideas, and food! The ticket and even some of the sales benefit the Houston Ballet Foundation. If you live in Houston, the market runs through Sunday and is definitely a fun holiday experience!!

I have really been wanting a black pair of riding boots this season. With all the sales going on right now, I decided it was a good time to buy! I really wanted a pair of Tory Burch riding boots, but at over $300 it was just not in my price range right now, but one day! I hit up the Nordstrom Fall Sale to see if they had any contenders closer to the $100 mark. I was torn between #6 and #7. I turned to my bestie to help settle the tie-breaker. She owns #6 and loves them!! I was all set to buy when I checked the boot shaft height. I’m only 5’3″, so I try to buy boots in the 15 inch range. The Sam Edelman boots are just over 16 which is just a bit too tall for me. I decided to look around the site once more and found the perfect exactly what I was looking for boot and it was on sale! The Corso Como was the exact smooth leather look I wanted, and a boot shaft height of just under 15 inches! Riding boots are definitely a staple of my fall and winter wardrobe! I pair them with leggings, skinny jeans, and dresses. I’m really excited to welcome this new pair to my shoe family! 🙂
