Pink Button Front Dress
At the start of summer, I saw so many women wearing these cute button front dresses. Living in the 100 degree heat of a Texas summer, I knew I needed one! I originally wanted a white one, since white is totally having a moment right now. While searching , I found this gorgeous rose pink button front dress. I love the earth tone vibe to it. It gives a fun boho chic style when paired with my suede brown boots and saddle bag. I added in my bangles and arrowhead white earrings to complete my boho inspired look.
You can change the vibe of this dress with a pair of wedges and a change of the bag. You could also opt for a simple gold earring to create another cute and casual summer outfit. This dress is so lightweight and breathable! It was exactly the dress I needed for an outdoor brunch with friends. You can also add a cute khaki colored or denim jacket to this look to transition this dress into fall or to wear during Spring.
I have such a low key weekend planned. July was a pretty busy month for me, so I’m kinda excited to just chill and catch up on blog work. The rest of August and September is looking to be a busy one too with a trip to New York planned, a friend’s wedding, and my birthday at the end of this month. I’m definitely going to enjoy this weekend in case I don’t get another slow one for a few months. I hope whatever you are up to this weekend, you enjoy every moment of it. Thanks for stopping by this week!

WorkWear: Red Midi Skirt
I have mentioned before that red is such a power color for me. It’s the perfect color to add to your work wardrobe for a some good girlboss vibes. I picked this red midi skirt up in store during the Nordstrom sale. I liked the details of the wrap look and the belt design to make this stand out just a bit from an average pencil midi skirt.
This red skirt will pair well with any fitted top. I really liked it paired with this black turtleneck for a polished and professional look. I kept my jewelry minimal to really let this skirt be the statement maker of the outfit.
I hope ya’ll have a wonderful week and thanks so much for taking some time out of your day to stop by!

NSale Inspired: Wear Now Navy Floral Top
Happy Friday!!! How’s your week going? My best friend and I hit up a local Houston pool yesterday to celebrate the start of my birthday month. It was so fun having girl talk, frozen pool cocktails, and floating around the lazy river. We both received some much needed sun too! Today is back to the office before a fun friend filled weekend ahead! I’m so ready for it!
This weekend is also the end of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so I have one last NSale Inspired outfit for you. This navy floral top is part of the sale, and it’s also something you can wear now in the HEAT of summer! I paired it here with my favorite white skinny jeans. Y’all I love this white denim so much that this is my second pair of this exact style! I saw this pair was on sale yesterday too.
Ok back to this top. I love all the colors in it, and I went with these yellow statement earrings to really draw out the shades of yellow in the top. You could also pair with red or white earrings and bring those colors out. The colors in this top make it work well with ALL the jeans colors! White for Summer and Spring, Gray for Summer, Spring, and fall, Black for Fall, and you could even do a dark blue with brown boots in the fall. I styled it in my try on session with gray jeans.
If you missed out on any Nordstrom Anniversary Sale items due to being sold out, this weekend is a perfect chance to check back for a restock. I always find items coming back in stock as people start sending in returns. Ya’ll have a great weekend and thank you so much for letting me be your Nordstrom sale resource this year! I hope I was able to help shopping the sale a little easier for you this year!

Summer to Fall Work Dress
Hello Ladies! One of my favorite areas of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year was the dress section. I loved all the classic silhouettes and great prints available. Plus, many of the dresses were coming in under $100! This burgundy floral wrap dress was an instant add to cart. I loved the colors in it and the $52 price tag. It’s the perfect summer to fall work dress. You can wear it this way for both seasons, and in fall pair with boots and and long cardigan or leather jacket.
It’s a faux wrap design, so it cinches in at the waist a little to help give you a little shape. It would also be a great dress to wear to a bridal shower or head to happy our after work. If you need some new dresses for work, be sure to check out the dress selection of the sale! Only a few more days until prices go back up! You can see more or my purchases in my Try-On Session, and all my sale related posts HERE.
