Holiday Gift Guide for the Beauty Lover

| DETAILS |
Makeup Brushes | Nail Polish Set | Bath Bombs | Eyeshadow Palette | Face Mask Set | Curling Wand | Eye Masks | | Body Lotion Set | Moroccan Oil Set | Straightening Iron | Face Roller Workout Kit | La Mer Skincare Set
We are coming in at 20 days until Christmas and even less if you are an online shopper like me. I looked over shipping deadlines for USPS, FedEx, and UPS. Ground shipping aka the cheapest ends Dec 14, and the 20th and 21st look like pretty solid cutoffs across the board for priority/expensive shipping. So if you want to save on shipping costs, you have about 7-9 days to get those orders in. EEEK that does not feel that far away!
This time of year I feel like I hear from my guy friends a little extra needing some gift shopping help. I’ve been pointing them to my jewelry gift guide and under $50 gift guide. Today’s gift guide is also perfect for the ladies. It is filled with beauty gift ideas for Christmas. I broke it down into 3 categories, my personal favorite and one I think you can never go wrong with – Skincare and Spa, plus Makeup and Nails, and Haircare.
For skincare and spa, I went with brands and products I know are amazing plus a few popular items I want to try out. Does anyone use one of these stone face rollers?? This is on my Christmas list for sure! Beauty sets are fun for the holidays because it allows you to try out multiple products from a brand. I love this for face masks since you can really use a good handful of different masks to combat different skin issues.
For makeup and nails, I included a starter kit of makeup brushes from my favorite brand. I’ve owned mine for about 2 years, and they still look new. I always put a nail polish set on my wish list. It’s fun opportunity to try out new colors or a new brand. Butter London is a good one too. It tends to last long and only need 1-2 coats.
My haircare picks are primarily tools. T3 products have built a cult following and are supposed to be amazing. I might cheat on my Chi and try out this flat iron straightener! I also included a curling wand aka the new curling iron. It’s really great for creating loose curls.
What’s your favorite beauty item? Any of these on your list? Stay tuned to the blog tomorrow because I’m sharing something completely new! A look inside my home at my holiday decorations! I love decorating for Christmas and cannot wait to share it with you. Be sure to come back tomorrow and check it out!

Light Purple Blazer + Gray Denim

Happy December!!! Ya’ll I had the most productive weekend ever. I crossed so many items off my to do list, and it feels so good to be starting such a busy month ahead of the game. Here is hoping I can keep up the momentum and keep tackling my to do list, so when the holiday parties start I will be free and clear.
Speaking of holiday parties, I think today’s look would be perfect for a casual Christmas party, especially if you are looking to go sans the red and green. I’m obsessed with the loose long open front blazers. This light purple blazer is also the perfect color to carry you right through spring. It’s such an easy way to create a dressy casual look for a party or date night. To make this a little more festive, I added my silver metallic mule heels which will be making lots of appearances this holiday season.
I love this lavender color with gray and added in black cami to complete this look. You could also add in a sequin top or graphic tee too. To add an effortless chicness to your blazer look, try pushing up the sleeves. I think it something super simple that adds a little something extra to the overall look. The light purple shade of this blazer is currently 50% off (yay!), but I also linked the other colors too for you. It includes red if you want to be more festive, but they are not on sale. (boo)
I have lots of fun content headed to the blog this week including another gift guide, a holiday home tour, and the prettiest work look. Stay tuned to the blog for all the fun coming at you this week!

Holiday Gift Guide: The Jewelry Box

| DETAILS |
The Splurges: ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR | FIVE | SIX | SEVEN
Under $100: EIGHT | NINE | TEN | ELEVEN | TWELVE | THIRTEEN
Happy Friday! Kicking off the weekend right with a post filled with pretty jewels! It’s my jewelry gift ideas for Christmas, and I’ve divided them up into two categories – splurge ranging from $200-$500 and under $100. Feel free to forward this post to your S.O., secret santa, family, or just share a link to this post on Facebook with your favorite number for a nice subtle hint. 😉
For the splurges, I included a David Yurman bracelet stack because you can’t have just one. I own the classic cable cuff (#7) and love it. I’m hoping to add another bracelet either this holiday season or maybe with a few holiday gift cards in the new year. I also included a few other popular brands like Bony Levy and Monica Vinader.
For the under $100, I hit up brand favorites Kendra Scott, Gorjana, and Pandora. All the pieces are affordable options that also come with great quality. For both categories, I chose classic styles that can easily mix into anyone’s existing jewelry collection. I included a few rose gold pieces, because I’m currently crushing on all the rose gold jewelry. Many of these pieces come in silver and gold, and some in rose gold. For the non-diamond pieces, you will have several stone color options. If you are unsure of which color to buy, I suggest picking a neutral like white or clear.
I hope your holiday shopping is off to a smooth start. I have a few more gift guides planned, and I shared more ideas in The Holiday Gift Shop. I will be adding gift ideas to this page from now until Christmas. Ya’ll have a fabulous weekend!

A Cardigan, A Coat, A Casual Coatigan

We survived Thanksgiving and Cyber Week Sales, and now we move on to the Christmas season. I love the Christmas season, the music, lights, decor, Hallmark movies, oh it’s so fun! I’m planning a little bit different holiday content this year. I’m kind of excited about it, so stay tuned as I share a little bit of my love of the Christmas season with you alongside the fabulous outfit posts of course.
We are currently in a mix of weather over here, so all the layers are necessary. I have purchased a couple cardigan coats before, or as they are becoming know the coatigan. It’s a way to create a slightly dressier look to the normal cardigan without the weight of a coat. It’s perfect for our in between weather!
This casual coatigan has a blazer like feel with the lapel lines on the front. The salt and pepper dark gray make it work with both colors and neutrals. It would be really cute over a dress too. I loved pairing it with the white and light gray to really pull out the flecks of white in the knit. I went a little more casual with this look by adding my black booties, but a pair of black or red heels could easily dress the look up a bit.
I hope your week is going well and thanks for stopping by!!
