This little black denim mini dress became an instant favorite as soon as I put it on. It’s perfect for looking chic in the summer heat. I love the fit of it. It’s the perfect amount of loose fitting but also structured to not add too much volume. Did ya’ll see that back? It does make it not a bra friendly dress, but the thick denim made that ok for me. The open back helps this dress really beat the heat and let a little breeze in.
I’ve worn this dress so far with flats for running errands and wedges to dress up a bit for brunch/lunch. I’m thinking some booties or brown boots will help transition this dress to fall. A pair of western boots will make this dress perfect for the rodeo or a country concert.
Sizing Notes: I’m wearing this dress in a 2P. I consider it a TTS fit for this brand.

I walked into Target to try on some shorts and walked out with this $20 cutie. I originally spotted this midi dress in black and tucked behind it was the last one of this pink coral color. The added bonus, it was in my size! As soon as I tried on this pink sleeveless midi dress, I was instantly sold and then I realized it had pockets. The good news for ya’ll, this dress is still available online in all size in both pink and black along with a few other colors. Did I mention it’s only $20?!?
This coral pink color is perfect for summer! I added a denim jacket over it the other week which will also be a great way to wear this dress in the spring. This dress would be perfect for the fall season with boots and a denim jacket too. The material is a knit material and is very breathable. I have to stop myself from wearing this every week. I might need to go back and buy the black one so I have an extra to wear.
Sizing Notes: I’m wearing a small in the dress, and sized up a half size in the sandals.

Happy Happy Friday! It’s also the first day that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is open to all! If you missed my NSale Picks, head back to this post to check them out. My favorite bootcut jeans are included in the sale too. I wear this pair sooo much! These jeans are great for creating dressy casual looks. I also found an almost identical pair of heels in the sale too. This medium brown shade has proven super versatile and a great addition to my shoe collection.
Speaking of dressy casual outfits, this ivory smocked puff sleeve top is an instant outfit elevator. A fun statement puff sleeve with a little ruffle sign me up. The smock detailing and ruffle adds a little bit more feminine glam to this ivory blouse. This top is a lightweight t-shirt type material which makes it comfy and cute. It’s perfect to tuck into a pair of bootcut jeans for a casual work day or style it with a pair of navy shorts for a weekend outfit.
Sizing notes: These jeans have a little stretch to them. I wear a 2Petite and consider them TTS. In the top, I’m wearing a size small. I chose to go up one from what I normally wear from this store.

Earth tones paired with white pants is such a great summer combo. The print on this burnt orange cotton blouse really pops next to the white of the jeans. It really helps the detailing of this gorgeous print shine. In addition to the print, this top has tasseled cords at the neckline with just the right amount of sleeve volume thanks to the elastic band. With the volume in the top, I like this paired with skinny jeans and nude colored wedge sandal. If you wanted to pair with a bootcut or flare jean, I would simply tuck it in to create a little waist definition and break up the volume.
While it’s a great color for summer, burnt orange will also transition perfectly to fall when paired with dark blue or black jeans. You can add booties or boots to complete the fall look for this top.
Sizing Notes: I’m wearing a small in the top. While it is a boxy fit, the elastic on the sleeves can feel a bit snug so the small was a more comfy fit. I sized up one in the jeans.
