Fit & Flare Coral Dress

Happy Friday Ladies!! We survived the week!! This was a crazy one for me in both work life and blog life. I scheduled myself a yoga class tomorrow morning. It’s going to be the perfect way to start my weekend in relaxation mode and get rid of all the craziness of the week. I have a busy few weeks coming up, so my weekend will probably filled with lots of working ahead on the blog. Although, I am hoping to get out to the pool on Sunday. It is forecasted to be 80 and sunny!
Now let’s talk about this coral dress, I am in love! I have a couple dresses from this designer, and I think they always nail the perfect fit of a dress. This dress is perfect for work, church, baby and bridal showers, luncheons, weddings, graduations, and basically any event you want a stylish and sophisticated look. I love the coral color. It’s perfect for both Spring and Summer. My favorite detail on this dress is the tie neck. I love that it is a thin and delicate bow which gives such a sweet feminine touch. The fit of this dress is between a fit and flare and shift dress. I think the overall shape is so flattering. I kept my jewelry, shoes, and clutch minimal and neutral to really let the beauty of the dress shine.
Alright ya’ll have a wonderful weekend, and thank you so much for stopping by!!

Striped Off the Shoulder Top

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday!! How was your weekend? After a busy week, I ended up not doing anything over the weekend and loving it! It was the perfect weekend for a little recharge and relaxation.
This blue striped off the shoulder top is a great mix of both classic and trendy for Spring. When I think Spring prints, I have to include blue and white stripes. It’s as Spring for me as gingham and florals. 🙂 It’s a classic print that can be dressed up or down and worn a variety of ways.
This classic print is given a little trendy vibe with the off the shoulder style. The band on this top is really good at holding this top in place and is not too tight. I styled this top for a fun evening out with jeans and some pops of color, but you can also pair it with white shorts and wedges for a daytime outfit.
I hope you’re week is fabulous and don’t forget to check out the Style File Link Up at the end of the post for more style inspiration! Thanks for swinging by today!

Workwear: Red Floral Blouse

Happy Friday the 13th!! I find some people think this is a good luck day and others think it’s a bad luck day. I have decided to wait until the end of the day to decide. 😉 I know it’s going to be a busy one at work which is fine with me because it will make the day go by so fast, and then Hello Weekend!
My favorite new work pants and I are back with another work outfit for you. I love these Topshop tops for the office. You can find it in both solids and prints. The red, white, and black floral one really caught my eye. It’s a print that will work across all seasons, so you can get lots of wear out of it. I love the tie waist look to add a little definition to the waist. The loose breezy fit makes this top pair perfectly with skinny pants and pencil skirts. You can take this top to weekend by adding in skinny jeans.
The top does have a slit in the front and back. I’m wearing a black camisole with this one to make it more work appropriate. Also, it’s Topshop, so you will need to size up. I’m wearing a US6.
I hope you all have a great weekend ahead! If you are in the mood for a little sale shopping, Shopbop is having their big sale of the year! You can save 20% off or 25% if you spend over $500. I’m planning to check out their jeans because I need a new pair, and probably the shoes because well you can never have too many shoes. Thanks for stopping by ya’ll!

Yellow Off the Shoulder Dress

Hello!! How was your weekend? We had a randomly cold weekend here. I had to pull out my sweaters and coats. I was not feeling it, and I ended up spending most of the weekend indoors in my coziest loungewear.
This yellow dress is a breath of fresh Spring air after our cold weekend. I have been noticing a little bit more yellow out this season, and I’m really excited about it. It’s a color I love to wear, but I don’t really own much of it. I’m hoping to add a bit more this Spring and Summer. The bold yellow of this dress was the perfect backdrop for my beaded tassel necklace. I love how the different colors pop against the yellow. For a more fitted look to this dress, try belting it. You can pick a fun color like blue or red to contrast against the dress color.
I originally thought about pairing this outfit with neutral or brown wedges, but then I found these color-block cuties in my closet. I love all the bright colors mixed together. It just adds to the fun and flirty nature of the dress. This outfit would be perfect for an afternoon sipping wine on a patio friends, a casual evening party, or a fun date night.
I found a few more yellow favorites below, and don’t forget to check out today’s Style File Link Up! Ya’ll have a good week!
