I warned you last week, I live in oversized sweaters and skinny jeans in winter! While I own multiple brands of jeans, my go to brand is definitely Lucky Brand Jeans. I love how long lasting and durable their jeans are. I have had several pairs since college, and they are still in great shape. On my “skinny days”, I still wear them too! The price of their jeans is not too bad either. The pair I’m wearing today is regularly priced $99, but they are currently 40% off!! These black skinny jeans are a thinner material than normal denim, and a have a little stretch to them which is nice this time of year with all the amazing holiday foods and cocktails. How gorgeous is this sweater! I recently fell in love with the BB Dakota brand. They make gorgeous clothes like this sweater or this jacket from my posts last week. They also have a great price point, so you will not break the bank stocking up on some of their gorgeous pieces. I am currently eyeing this amazing sequin skirt for New Year’s Eve! I always feel this time of year money gets a little tight, because I love buying gifts for others! It’s the shopaholic in me. It is nice to have great quality brands at good prices so I can still pick up a few fabulous pieces for myself! What are some of your favorite brands for affordable prices? Only TWO more weeks until Christmas! This week’s gift guide is all about stuffing those stockings!! One of my favorite things I have recently received in my stocking was gripping socks. I know it may not sound too exciting, BUT when your floors are tile, socks with grip on the bottom are the best thing ever! I did not even realize such a thing existed and now I own multiple pairs and live in them all winter long. I also added the Kate Spade Card Holder to my stocking gift list. I love mine! I put all my basics in there and then put it inside my big wallet. Whenever I change to a clutch or small crossbody bag, I just grab it and go. So easy!! I have been wearing this Formula X for Sephora nail polish in the Infinite color on the blog lately. I found this nail polish while perusing my local Sephora on my lunch break. I fell in love with the color in the store. When I tried it out the first time, I was even more impressed that I only needed one coat! I usually paint my nails myself because I like to change the color quite a bit. Only needing one coat is such a great time saver! Now get out there and get shopping because time is running out!

Last weekend marked my first Christmas party of the season! This week, I am heading to an office holiday party held at a home. I want a look that is in between fancy in a cocktail dress and casual with jeans and a cute top – a holiday look with a little sparkle! I love the sleek look of all black, and the blazer keeps it a little dressed up and professional. You could even pair with a dark red jacket to add a little holiday color. The sparkle is my favorite part of this outfit. I love anything with sequins on it! Black sequins are great for office parties where you want to be a little more subtle sparkly. I think they keep the outfit a little more business professional and look great popping through under the blazer. The best sparkle on this outfit is definitely the shoes! I have a slight shoe addiction, and these silver sparkly glitter shoes were definitely a pair that fed into my addiction. I do not get many wears out of them, but when I do they are definitely show stoppers! I think every woman needs that great pair of shoes that are for nothing more than to wear for fun and to party! These shoes definitely do that!

Remixing another piece from a previous post today! The darker magenta color of this skirt makes it a great transitional piece to carry me into every season! While normally I love pairing a pencil skirt with a loose and flowy top, the cooler temperatures have me reaching for oversized sweaters instead. It still gives you that same juxtaposition I love with a pencil skirt and flowy top, but keeps you a little warmer. I am so in love with this sweater. It is so incredibly comfortable!!! I can’t wait to pair this sweater with jeans and boots further into the winter season or just to lounge in around the house with a pair of leggings. The sweater is going to look great for a casual family gathering and is a classic style that I can wear for years. I am also having a a remix moment with my boots today pairing them with a skirt instead of my normal jeans. To keep over the knee boots office friendly, I try to keep a 2 inch rule between my skirt and the top of the boot. Since I am a bit on the short side, I think the few inches between skirt and boot help make me look a little taller. After all when you are petite, it is great to be able to give the illusion of height especially with no heel involved. Hope ya’ll are having an amazing week! We are almost to the halfway mark!
