I have talked in previous posts about my love for getting multiple uses out of my clothes, and today I am sharing just how I do it. You may be surprised at just how easy it can be! I love taking a simple basic dress and dressing it either up or down for night or day. This dress has been styled three ways – one night look, one day look, and one look I call my county fair cook-off look. If you are not from Texas, that is like a giant BBQ party. To take this dress to cocktails or a dinner with friends, I added a black leather jacket, black booties, silver jewelry and red lips. You almost forget there is such a plain dress underneath! My day look for errand running is adding flats and a military jacket. This dress is loose fitting and comfy and goes great with flats and an oversized military jacket to enhance the casual comfy feel of the dress. My county fair cook-off look adds a jean jacket and some cowboy boots, of course. Maybe it is because I am a born and raised Texas girl, but I think just about every dress looks great with boots and a jean jacket. Just by pretty much changing my jacket and shoes, I will get three different looks out of this dress. Bonus fourth look, you can wear this dress all by itself with a pair of black flip flops or flats. HAPPY FRIDAY and thanks for stopping by!
