We Houston Bloggers definitely represented our city and state this year at The Blog Societies Conference!  I was so excited to room with 3 amazing bloggers from Houston, Brittany, Kim, and Alice.  We had so much fun eating, shopping, and laughing our way through the weekend.  Today, we are joining forces to share our final outfit from TBSCon!

When I started favoriting dresses on Rent the Runway, I knew this one would be making the final cut immediately.  It fit the comfy, pretty, semi-casual look I really wanted for that final conference day.  The final day was primarily workshops with a sit down lunch and buffet breakfast.  I wanted something comfy because I knew I would be sitting for long periods of time.  Of all 3 dresses I rented, I really wanted to keep this one! It’s $400, so I’m adding it to a few wish lists in hopes of scoring it heavily discounted later this year!

The dress is more of midi length, so I paired it with my nude sandals.  This really helped elongate the leg, and keep me from looking too short.  My long pendant necklace was the perfect add-on to really complete the look.  It added just the right amount of shine.  I carried this Vera bag all weekend!  The white color worked with all my end of summer colorful outfits.  This bag also held everything I needed from my phone, wallet, lipsticks, mirror, and business cards.  You never go to a blog conference without those business cards!

After the conference, I ended up staying in this dress for the rest of the day.  I tossed on my Tory Burch sandals for a little exploring of Charleston, and then added a pair of wedges for dinner with all the Houston bloggers in attendance.  I loved that the dress worked for all three activities and could be dressed up or down so easily.

Be sure to head over to my conference roomies blogs to hear more about their conference experience and for all their outfit details!
