White Lace Embroidered Top

Hey there, friends! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty busy over here. I spent a large part of Saturday grabbing the last few items from my apartment which ended up being a full carload and the final cleaning of the place. I really loved that apartment and so many things about it. It’s definitely a little bittersweet to say goodbye. On Sunday, my mom stopped by the new house for her first in-person tour. It was my first time seeing her in person in over 4 months! I was so excited to see her and show her around the new place. So I guess my weekend was filled with saying goodbye to the old and hello to all the fun new.
Continuing with my white top love, this white lace embroidered top is another buy now and wear for multiple seasons later. I’ve had my eye on this top for a year or so now. I’ve seen it in a few different colors but I love the chicness of the white color. I think the white version can be easily dressed up or down. I opted to do a mix of the two and pair it with my skinny jeans and strappy kitten heels.
A few other outfit ideas for this top –
- Pair it with white denim and nude colored heels, espadrille wedges, or a bright colored heel
- Toss on some black skinny jeans and brown tall boots in the fall
- Add in some distressed jeans and brown suede booties
- For an office friendly look, pair this top with gray or colorful skinny work pant. Think navy, green, or burgundy with a pair of heels or nice flats.
Which outfit idea would be your favorite way to wear this white lace top?

Organza Puff Sleeve Top

Oh the brunch and date night outfits that I have planned! When shopping for fun going out tops, I’ve been leaning more towards color options that can be worn across multiple seasons. White has been a front runner since it works well in all 4 seasons. This white organza puff sleeve top is so fun for a girls’ dinner or brunch. The bubble sleeves add a dramatic statement factor to any look. The body is a comfy fitted knit sweater top.
I paired it with my distressed jeans to create a casual look, but I had to add in my snakeskin heels to still give a dressed up vibe to the outfit. For fall, black jeans and tall brown boots will create the perfect weekend outfit. Another outfit idea is to pair this top with white jeans and add a colorful heel for a neutral spring look.
How was your 4th of July weekend? We started off the weekend hanging out poolside with some of Steve’s family and ended it with our first big home purchase – patio furniture! It will be delivered this week, and I cannot wait!! We found the comfiest patio set. We compromised a little on color for comfort, and I’m happy with it.

Navy & Green Embroidered Top

Summer ready with my white jeans and navy blouse. For Spring and Summer, I’ve been loving navy tops with a print that pops. Remember this post! Summer season is all about white jeans and shorts, and I think navy is good compliment. The navy and white combo also helps create a dressier look when combined.
The navy, green and white combo on this top is so pretty. The colors compliment each other perfectly and work really well with silver jewelry. This navy and green embroidered top has loose and flowy fit perfect for being breathable on a hot summer day. The length on this top is a little longer, so I think it pairs better with white jeans over shorts. You could also pair with with gray jeans for a different look.
To keep the look a little dressier, I added in my nude-colored block heel sandals. You can easily make this outfit more casual with an espadrille wedge or flat sandal. If your weather is a little cooler, a denim jacket would work well over this top as long the two blues have a good contrast to them.
My weekend plans are not too exciting. I decided to get rid of my storage unit, and I have until the end of June to move out of it. I’m planning to start going through everything and begin the process this weekend. I’ve had the unit for a couple years, and many of the things in there I don’t need or use. I just wasn’t ready to donate or toss them at the time, so I hid them away in a storage unit. I’m planning to go through every item and box in there and only bring back what I need, will use, and have space for. What are your weekend plans? Hopefully more fun than mine!

How to Wear a Long Rope Necklace

Hello Hello and Happy March! I’m so excited for Spring and spring fashion! Thanks to everyone who submitted responses to my Spring Reader Survey. If you haven’t had a chance to fill it out yet, you can check it out here. It’s just 5 questions, so it should be quick and easy.
For Valentine’s Day, my boyfriend gifted me this gorgeous necklace from Kendra Scott. I love the versatility of these rope style necklaces. They can be worn a few different ways in outfits from super glam to daytime casual. One easy and everyday way to style this long rope necklace is with a v-neck tunic top. I knot the necklace just slightly below the v of the top. I love how the two v designs line up together. They look made for each other! It’s such a simple and easy way to dress up all your solid color v-neck tops.
If you are looking for more glam ways on how to wear a long rope necklace like for say a wedding or date night, you can opt for a strapless dress and wear this necklace the same way, untied (think graduation tassels) or flipped around towards the back. For even more classy glam style, I would pair a low back dress with this necklace facing backwards. You want to the tassels to be inside the open back of the dress. You have probably seen this look on the red carpet a time or two.
If you want some office inspiration for this necklace, I would pair with with a shift dress added bonus if it also has a v-neck. You could also pair this with a collared shirt and wear it kind of like a tie. Place the necklace under the collar and adjust the knot to hit about mid chest.
How would you style this necklace with your wardrobe?
