Shades of Gray Cardigan

Where are my cardigan lovers at?? I’m loving this gray cardigan for fall. It’s more of an open knit so it’s perfect for those days when you need a light layer. I love it for the cool morning/warmer afternoon days. Per my usual, I’ve been loving mixing grays, black and white this fall. It’s one of those combos that can look chic even when part of a super casual look like this one.
Also, if you are looking for a good layering tank, I LOVE these. I’ve worn them a few times on the blog. I own them in a few colors. I love that I can wear my regular bra with these, and that they are a thick material. The white is not at all see through. They are from Gap, so you can usually find them on sale every few weeks.
I hope you all have a great week ahead! I have another monochromatic style look coming for you later this week, and fun little beauty DIY, stay tuned!

Floral Statement Coat

Hello Hello! I love that I am sharing my final New York outfit while sitting at my gal pal’s apartment in San Antonio. I might need to add travel blogger to my resume soon. 😉 While in New York, I was able to meet the PR team for Cinzia Rocca and check out their spring coat line. Obsessed would be an understatement. When they offered me the opportunity to borrow this coat for my last photo shoot, I immediately said yes.
Living in Texas, I usually stick to the basic jacket and coat styles since I am only going to wear them for about a month or so. I loved the opportunity to play dress up with this gorgeous floral statement coat. The fit of this coat was a dream and would look cute dressed down with jeans or over a body-con or fit and flare dress. The floral jacquard print had a chic feminine feel to it.
With this coat being such a statement piece, I kept the remaining pieces of my outfit pretty simple to let the coat shine. I went with gray and black because I think it complimented the floral print perfectly. This gray and black outfit has been a major go to for me lately with statement pieces. I usually love to wear it with colorful statement jewelry or heels, and I will be transitioning it to fall and winter with my jackets.

Gray and Black Outfit

Hello Lovelies!! How was your extra long weekend?!? I spent mine hanging with friends, relaxing at home, and getting ready for my trip to New York this week. I cannot believe it is already fashion week! I leave tomorrow and still have all the packing to do. I’m not a light packer to begin with, and NYFW is like a bring all the things kind of situation. I’m trying to make it in one bag, but we will see how that goes.
My color crush combo lately has been a gray and black outfit. I have paired these gray skinny jeans with every black top I own this summer. My favorite outfit was a simple black cami with jeans and these heels. To transition this color combo to fall, I traded my sleeveless black tops for this cute striped blouse. I love the bigger sleeve and boxy design. I think it helps make your waist look smaller with skinny jeans.
Also, these black patent heels are my current faves for fall! I find this brand so comfy and easy to break in. This is my second pair of this style, and I plan to buy a couple more colors over the next few months.
I hope you all have a fabulous week! If you want to follow along on my NYFW adventures, be sure to follow over on Instagram (@karenkocich). I will also be sharing here after I return from my trip for those of you not on Instagram.

Big Sleeves & Blush Pink

Blush pink and gray ranks high on my list of perfect Spring color combos. The two colors compliment each other so well. This blush pink top would look gorgeous with white or blue jeans, but I love the contrast with the gray.
The feminine touches on this top make it so gorgeous and stand out. I love the big 3/4 length sleeve to help create effortless movement. The stripe illusion design on the sleeve is just another beautiful detail on this top to help it stand out a bit from the rest of the blush pink pack.
I kept the rest of my outfit pretty neutral with these cute white earrings and a rose gold necklace. I like that they compliment the top and do not overly distract from it. The top is semi-sheer, and a camisole is needed underneath it.
I hope you guys have a fun weekend ahead! Today is Go Texan Day in Houston, so lots of cowboys boots, denim, and horses on the freeways. It’s the kickoff day to our rodeo which lasts for the next few weeks. I’ve talked about it in past posts with outfit inspiration here. It’s always a fun time in Houston.
Thanks for stopping by you guys! I always appreciate the visit and your sweet comments!!
