I love a short work week! Only three work days for me this holiday week, so I am wearing a cardigan sweater with a little added sparkle to keep me in my holiday mood! I am a sucker for sequins and sparkly add-ons to any outfit, and I love the buttons on this cardigan! I tend to wear quite a bit of black, so I usually try to pick up a few colorful layering pieces like cardigan sweaters to add a pop of color and brighten up my outfit. The sparkly buttons on this cardigan will also make it perfect to wear to holiday gatherings! You can easily throw on some black skinny jeans and a black and white top to create a more casual look. Cardigans are also a great way to get a few extra wears out of your warmer weather sleeveless dresses!

Black is definitely the new pink. I always find myself leaning towards darker colors when I am out shopping, and I think you can never go wrong with a black on black look. I love how simple yet strong an all black ensemble can be, and the slimming effect of black doesn’t hurt. Sometimes I will add a pop of color with shoes or jewelry to break up the dark color. It’s a great way to show off an amazing statement necklace, or sport a fun shoe color. I love wearing my red pumps with all black! The color really shines against the all black background. I had been on the hunt for months for the perfect tweed fitted jacket, but had been coming up empty handed. I was starting to feel a little like Goldilocks, this one too long, this one too expensive, and this one just right but not in my size. I was beginning to lose hope, but then I saw this jacket from across the store and fell in love. This jacket was just right, not overly expensive, fitted in all the right places and black, one of my go to colors. It was perfect. One of the first things I thought to pair it with was my Dark Plum skinny jeans. I tend to pair my colored skinny jeans with a white or black top to let the jean color stand out more. I think this outfit will be perfect for a family Thanksgiving event, as long as I don’t spill cranberry sauce on my white shirt. Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by!

I love a good throw on and go dress, and sweater dresses are the perfect throw on and go. For a dress to fall in this category for me, it has to meet one big requirement, NO IRONING! Sweater dresses definitely meet this requirement, and they look great with booties, boots, flats, and pumps. When it gets colder, I love throwing on some tights or leggings and wearing tall riding boots with them. You can just as easily dress them up or down depending on your shoes or how you accessorize. Oh the possibilities seem endless! I like that this dress is a simple dark gray color, because it gives me lots of options when changing the accessories to create a new look. Just changing to a different colored scarf, or no scarf with a long silver pendant necklace can give me a whole new look.
