How to Use LiketoKnow.it to Shop my #OOTD
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that my outfit posts became shoppable thanks to LiketoKnow.it! For those of you who aren’t familiar with the program, I wanted to explain a little how it works and this post just wouldn’t fit in one of my photo captions. 🙂
LiketoKnow.it was designed for Instagram, so you never have to ask “Where did you get that?” again. It’s so easy to use! (And if you don’t have Instagram, I will share how you can still shop my #ootd posts)
Step 1: Sign Up with LiketoKnow.it by connecting your Instagram account and submitting your email on the LiketoKnow.it website.
Step 2: Like Instagram photos that contain the trio –> @liketoknow.it www.liketk.it/1ZlgD #liketkit
Step 3: Sit back and wait for your email to arrive with ready to shop picture links like this:
Yep, that’s it! Super easy! You can sign in the website at any time to view all your ‘liked’ photos and see the same shoppable links. AND you can also pin the photos to Pinterest so you can remember the ones you really love!
If you are worried about receiving yet another email, you can adjust your settings to receive the emails immediately, daily or weekly. I personally change up my settings between daily and immediately. Sometimes I’m bombarded with tons of emails in general and like to condense so I limit them, and other times I miss the immediate ability to shop before items sell out.
I have been using LiketoKnow.it personally for over a year and love it! The emails are so easy taking you directly to the store’s website to purchase. It’s a great way to stop thinking oh that’s cute, I wonder where it’s from!! On my account, I love being able to include sale information and different style options in my posts. The day I posted the above photo my purse was 30% off, and I love that I can let you know in case you have been eyeing it.

Layering is a fall and winter staple for me! One of my favorite ways to layer is to pair short sweaters with longer tops. I love using some of my summer tops and tanks to get a few extra out of season wears from them. I also love to layer printed blouses under solid sweaters! I love to see the print peeking out at the bottom and at the end of the sleeves. You can also roll back the sleeves on the bottom shirt so more of the print shows. I paired the layered look with my black flared skirt. At last check it was sold out, so I also linked a similar version. This skirt is another closet staple for me that I wear year round! You may remember me talking about buying these boots a week or two ago. I have worn them a couple times and they are really comfortable! They have a slight padding in the bottom which was honestly weird when I first put my foot in, but I think it helps with the comfy factor. I have worn them with both dresses and jeans, and they are super cute with both! Don’t worry these will be all over the blog this winter, so you will see them styled different ways quite a bit! If you are still looking for some Thanksgiving outfit ideas, this look would definitely be a cute one!

I’m so in love with this print for fall! I’m a fan of the Chelsea28 line at Nordstrom. They always have great basics and trendy items at decent prices. I always make a point to walk through their section when I am at the store. This floral print and I were love at first sight, but I didn’t buy it initially. I actually went back a couple weeks later because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I always feel like if you are still thinking about something 2-3 weeks later, it might be worth buying. I love the dark maroon background with the white flowers. It is exactly what a fall floral should be and is a great professional for the office print. This tie neck blouse is also a decent length, so you can wear it with pants too. My other obsession in this outfit is the shoes! I picked these up in the Shopbop Friends & Family Sale last month. Schutz makes some of the prettiest shoes, and these are actually pretty comfortable. I’ve worn them to work a couple times and never had that end of the day pain from new pointy-toe shoes. I’m currently crushing on the color gray, and it’s versatility. Almost every morning, I realize these shoes would be cute with what I’m wearing. They also look cute with jeans! I wore them out with some flared jeans and a plaid top last weekend.
We are gearing up for another rainy weekend, so I’m planning on doing a little blog work and a little shopping! I recieved a few fall sale emails in my inbox this week like Henri Bendel and my all-time favorite Nordstrom. I already started perusing their sale last night. One of my favorite “I’m bored” activities is online window shopping. I love to head to online shopping sites and just peruse what they have available with no real intention to buy but just look. (Although somehow I usually end up buying something 🙂 )That is how I originally came across this boxy blouse. I was intrigued by both the shape and the print. I liked the oversized sleeve with a defined shape and the boxy fit of the body with an almost cropped top feel. The print is what really drew me in though. It reminded me a little of lightning strikes or tree roots. It is one of those prints that can act as both the statement and the under dog of an outfit. I was really torn on my favorite way to wear this boxy style top because it looks great with a skirt and skinny jeans. Don’t be surprised if you see this top styled again! Since the top is black and white, I loved bringing in color with my magenta skirt. This skirt color is sold out but I linked a super similar and under $20 version for you. I also have to mention that my top is only $17!! It is from Shein which is online site known for trendy fashion at a ridiculously affordable price! Despite the low price tag, I will say the quality on this blouse is top notch. This is my first piece from them, and I am definitely going back for more!!
