Oh Monday you are here again, and so quickly! I had 101 things on my to do list this weekend, so it seemed to fly by! I got tons done, but I feel like my weekend lasted a nanosecond and here we are at Monday again. Mondays may have a bad rep, but they are a great day to pull out a fun I will conquer this week outfit! This houndstooth skirt and bow tie blouse combo is going to do just that! I love the houndstooth print on this skirt. It is a print that I have not found too often on skirts. It is also a timeless print and a great thick material so I can wear it for years to come. The color I am wearing is sold out, but I linked the blue/green one in the details section above which is just as gorgeous! I don’t know why, but bow top blouses always make me feel so ready to tackle the day. Kind of like don’t get in my way today, I mean business. I know it may sound silly, but when you have a piece like that you cannot help but want to wear it all the time. I have also styled this top in a previous post with pants and it still had that conquer the day vibe. Alright Monday, let’s do this!!

Shift dresses are probably my favorite thing to wear to work, but coming in a close second are skirts! With skirts, you can change up your top, jewelry or shoes to create a plethora of outfits. I am so in love with the a-line midi skirt trend. These skirts are fun, flirty, and office friendly. I love the color of this skirt, it reminds me a little of this year’s pantone color of the year, Marsala. The color is perfect to transition across multiple seasons, which means I can get more wears from it! For today, I paired with a cream silk button down to wear to the office. I think this skirt is going to pair perfectly this summer with a black or white v-neck t-shirt, maybe a fun statement necklace. I have also been toying with the idea of trying out the crop top trend, and this skirt would go great with a long sleeve black crop top!
