Turquoise Contrast Eyelet Pullover

Turquoise Contrast Eyelet Pullover
Our weather has been flipping lots between winter and spring weather. I lived in sweaters and layers all weekend long, and in a few days I’ll be back in dresses and shorts. It’s this season transitioning time of year that I love a fashion find like this turquoise contrast eyelet pullover sweater.
From the initial appearance, you see the bold turquoise eyelet statement sleeve that is so perfect for spring. The spring must have eyelet design pairs with a colorful abstract floral print in lots of fun and bold spring colors. First impressions, I’m here for the spring season. Now here is the good part, this top is a lightweight and soft sweatshirt material on the inside. That’s right those eyelet statement sleeves are lined to to keep you warm on those cold spring days. I love the spring and winter combo in this top so you can still enjoy the spring prints and colors while also staying warm.
A bold print like this will look so good against a pair of white jeans for an even dressier outfit! I opted for dark blue jeans and nude colored heels for a bit more on the casual side of a dressy casual look. For a quick business casual look, pair this pullover with my go to bootcut jeans from my last post.

Business Casual Jeans Outfit

Business Casual Jeans Outfit
A business casual jeans outfit is my go to work look lately. These dark blue bootcut jeans have long been a favorite of mine for creating dressy casual outfits. The dark color and bootcut flare style give a dressy and professional look to enhance any outfit. These jeans are the petite length and fit perfectly with a pair of heels which is another easy way to build a business casual outfit.
When looking for tops to pair with my bootcut jeans for a dressy casual outfit, I look for chic, classic prints or solids, and quality material. This top hits all three marks perfectly. The smock details and high neck design give the chic vibe. I love the smock details on the wrists. It give a statement sleeve, and it helps hold the sleeves at the 3/4 length for warmer days. The solid black with a minor red polka dot print is abosolutely perfect and will be great in the fall season too. I was really impressed with the material of this top. It’s a good thickness, so you don’t need a cami underneath or have your bra peeking through. It’s also lightweight so you will not be too warm with it on. I rounded out my business casual outfit with a few simple accessories including gold bangles and white earrings to contrast with the top.
Last week, I officially made my very first Louis Vuitton purchase, the Croisette. I’ve had my eye on this purse for awhile and finally decided to make the purchase. It’s the perfect size crossbody for everyday use. It’s going to get lots of use. I’ll give you all a full review after I carry it around a few weeks, so far I’m in love.

Must Have Shoes for Spring

We took advantage of the big sales weekend to make a few home purchases including a new mattress and this gorgeous new runner for our kitchen. I still have one more item on my sales shopping list, a new pair of shoes or maybe two. I haven’t purchased too many spring sandals in the past couple of years, and I definitely have the itch to for some new ones. Summer and spring sandals are always so fun and pretty, and my closet is ready to welcome something new.
I’m looking at four different styles of shoes which I think are all must have shoes for Spring. I used to be all about the heeled strappy sandal or sky high wedges, and they are still my favorite for the season. But my style leans a little more casual these days, so I’m including a few flat options in my must haves list to help create a well balanced spring shoe collection.
I’ve rounded up some of the cutest shoes in each of these four sections to help complete your spring shoe collection.
