SHOPBOP Friends & Family Sale
Hey Ya’ll!! The Shopbop Friends and Family Sale starts today!! I originally was going to include a few of my favorites in tomorrow’s post, but my love list kept growing so I decided to turn it into a full post. I blame it on being in vacation outfit planning mode. I also love just browsing through sales and adding all my favorites to my wish list. In my dream world, I then add all to cart and checkout. AHHH Dream World!!

I tried to pick items in a decent price range, because while I may want those $800 shoes, I also have bills. 🙂 I also tried to not to include any of the excluded items, but sometimes the shopaholic in me takes over and forgets to double check. So sorry in advance if I accidentally included any of those items. I had so many items favorited that I broke them down into categories for you below. So scroll around and click any item to shop. The sale is 25% off your entire order which means you can buy one $50 top and still get 25% off! Be sure to enter code [INTHEFAM] at checkout to score the 25% off! The sale runs through Thursday, but items and sizes go fast in this sale. Last time, I missed out on the cutest wedges just two hours after I wish listed them! This sale is serious. 🙂
I’m starting with shoes, because Hi, Shoe Addict here! I had so many I broke them into categories too.
WEDGES
SANDALS AND FLATS
HEELS AND PUMPS
Vacation mode definitely kicked in for the clothing portion of my wish list with lots of casual dresses and off the shoulder tops. I also found some really cute skirts and of course all my favorite denim brands!

TOPS
BOTTOMS
A sale round up would not be complete without handbags!! This is one item I love to splurge on, so there are a few pricier items here.
Friends and Family sales are such a great time to stock up on basics or splurge on that designer item you have been craving. I hope you all have fun shopping, and don’t forget to enter the code INTHEFAM at checkout!!

Hey there Monday!! I had such a busy weekend that Monday seemed to sneak up on me this week. My cousin’s wedding was this weekend, and it was gorgeous! I posted what I wore over on Instagram, but I also plan on shooting it for the blog too. The shoes I ordered to wear with the dress don’t come in until today, so I wanted to wait to shoot the look how I originally planned on wearing it. Luckily, I had plenty of backup shoe options!
I’m also getting ready for a really fun girl’s trip that I’m taking in a couple weeks. We are heading to Charleston, and I am so excited to get to really explore this city with friends. I’m slowly planning my outfits for the trip, and I’m hoping to share little bit about how I pack for a vacation and a fun little travel guide of our trip to Charleston. Just a few things to look forward too!
I recently purchased a few pairs of flat shoes for my trip because Charleston is such a walking city. These lace-up flats are a shoe I have been searching for for awhile. I was kind of picky about what I wanted from no metal studs, to the lace design on the top of the foot, and I wanted them under $100. I bought these during a sale, but regular price they still aren’t bad at $70. They are a year-round shoe style, and one I can wear to the office with skirts.
This whole outfit may end up going on my trip with me. I definitely plan on bringing my denim jacket. It’s such an amazing and versatile closet staple. I toss it on with casual looks like this one and over dresses too. My look today is super neutral, so the jacket adds a little color. I also added in some fun colorful jewelry and my pink bag for a few more pops of color. This little crossbody bag is 100% coming on my trip! It’s the perfect size to hold my big DSLR camera along with all my other purse things. This color is sold out, but they do still have it in a darker pink color and some other fun colors too!
So I have to mention my black and gold bangle, it is actually a hair tie attached to a bangle. It’s the coolest thing ever! One of my blogger friends had one, and I really wanted one! I was super excited to receive one in a swag bag at a blogger brunch a few weeks ago. Definitely coming on my trip with me!
Hope ya’ll have a great Monday and thanks for stopping by!

March Beauty Favorites

| DETAILS |
PETER THOMAS ROTH Mask-a-holic Kit | IT COSMETICS c/o Eye Shadow Pallete, c/o Dual Eye Shadow Brush, c/o Complexion Perfection Brush, c/o Bye Bye Pores Finishing Powder | GARNIER FRUCTIS Heat Protection Spray | NIVEA Kiss of Moisture Lip Care | DIOR Nail Glow Polish
I had so much fun talking a little beauty/skincare last week that I decided it was time to bring more beauty back into the blog. I always feel like a total beauty novice, because it seems like everyday there is some new product I have never heard of and have no idea how to use, but I do love playing and experimenting with different products. Lately, I have been so busy that I have been very routine with my daily makeup. It’s sometimes quicker and easier just to do the same thing everyday. While spring cleaning I found a huge box of beauty products, and it reminded me of how much fun it is try new looks and change up the routine. I figured I would invite ya’ll along on my little beauty adventures as I discover new products and share some old tried and true favorites.

I have mentioned my life changing facial a few times, and it led me to wanting to find the perfect face mask. Ya’ll there are like a million different kinds of masks out there!! I found this little kit and my mom bought it for me as a Christmas present. It’s a really perfect mask starter kit because it has a little of everything from a mud mask to exfoliating peel to a 24K Gold Mask. The little jars are a really great size for a gift set. I have been using all of them since December and feel like I have hardly made a dent. My two favorites are the Pumpkin Exfoliating peel and the Mud mask, but I have had good results from all five different masks.

I LOVE eye shadow palletes because they allow you to change up your eye makeup everyday without having a bunch of little eye shadows lying around. I love using this one as my natural daytime pallete. I usually swipe the biggest color, transforming pearl, over my whole eyelid and then add color over it. I use a lighter shade on the lower eyelid and pair with a darker color on the crease. Two of my favorite combos are Soulful with All Heart and Soft Light with Violet.
I apply the eye shadow with this It Cosmetics brush. I LOVE their brushes because they are so soft! I have been trying out different liquid foundations, and I have been using the complexion brush to apply the foundation. I also use the small side to apply my concealer. This brush gives me some really great coverage with my foundations. I apply the Bye Bye Pores Finishing Powder after I’m done with all my concealing and foundation coverage. I love that matte airbrushed look it gives to my face. I use this brush which is the softest most soothing brush. I think using this brush is my favorite part of my makeup routine!

I straighten my hair daily, so I am big on heat protection. I have tried a few pricey brands, but this little Garnier one worked just as well for way less. I spritz it on each section prior to flat ironing. It really helps give my hair a smoother look.
I wear nail polish a lot! One of the downsides is the slight yellow staining on your nails when they are bare especially when I’m wearing dark fall nail polish colors. This Nail Glow product is perfect to give you a natural pink look. The pink tint really helps brighten your white and make your pink a gorgeous natural pink. It is pricey, but I love how it camouflages my nail imperfections. I received this as a Christmas gift a couple years ago.
My last product is one I never leave my home without! I have tried lots of different chapsticks, and this is my favorite. I only have to apply it once or twice a day to keep my lips moisturized. I have used so many chapsticks that I had to reapply all day long. I love being able to apply this once in the morning, and then not need it again for the rest of the day.

I hope you enjoyed a little review of some of my current beauty faves! Have a fabulous weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Baby Blue Shift Dress

| DETAILS |
FELICITY & COCO Crepe Shift Dress | STEVE MADDEN Sassey Fringe Heels | VERA BRADLEY c/o Tess Quilted Crossbody | KENDRA SCOTT Carla Earrings | HOUSE OF HARLOW Anza Necklace | BAUBLEBAR Cuban Links Bracelet, Ladder Cuff | Lipstick: BOBBI BROWN Neon Pink
This is one of my favorite shift dresses to wear in spring and summer! I have worn it on the blog before, but I LOVED the light blue and yellow together so I decided to share it again. This shift dress comes in several different colors too, if light blue isn’t your fave. One of my favorite things about this dress is that I don’t have to iron it. 🙂 There are so many mornings when I think ooh I will wear this top or dress, and then I pull it out of my closet and it’s wrinkled. So I put it back in my closet for that rare day when I’m not running behind and have time to iron. It’s a big reason why I LOVE anything that doesn’t need ironing. It’s a guarantee grab and go dress.
For work, I normally pair this with my nude pumps, but I wanted to make this as a fun little weekend look. I would rock this look to brunch or a shower. I love how these yellow fringe sandals take this dress from just a regular old baby blue shift dress to a fun and bright ready for mimosas look. I opted to tie the tassels in the front for this look, because I like the added detail with the short dress. With two bold colors, I decided to pair with my white crossbody bag. I just love how the white really brings out and brightens the other colors in this outfit!
Have a great day ya’ll! Thanks so much for stopping by!
