Blue and Gold:  one  | two  | three
Lady in Red:  one  | two  |  three  | four

Anyone else wishing they had 10 holiday parties this year, so they can wear all these dresses?!?!?  Holiday party dresses are one of my favorite things.  It probably has to do with my extreme love of dressing up.

A little black dress is the perfect classic dress for any occasion.  It’s a go to when you don’t know what to wear.  For a simple sophisticated look, you can pair it with black and gold shoes and accessories.  For a little bit more of a statement, you can add pops of color with your shoes, purse, and jewelry.  Think green purse, dark pink earrings, red heels, but not all together.  I would go with 1-2 colorful pieces.

I think gold and blue will help you stand out in a crowd a bit more.   You don’t see many people wearing blue to holiday parties, so it’s a great color for standing out a little.  I would pair it with either silver or gold shoes and jewelry.  You can also add in dark pink statement earrings too.  While I don’t think gold is necessarily an uncommon color, I do think it’s a bold standout color.  I think some might shy away from something so sparkly, so you may not see too many gold dresses.  If you want to try it, go for neutral accessories like black heels and jewelry.

I feel like red can be kind of basic for a holiday party, but I don’t care I still love it.  It’s a classic holiday look.  If you want to do red and stand out, look for unique features like cutouts or scalloped edges.  I love red paired with gold jewelry and black heels.  You can add a sparkly gold clutch too for a fun standout piece.

If you have a holiday party or two coming up, I would buy now. With all the Cyber Week sales coming up, shipping may take a tad bit longer than normal.  Plus ordering early allows time for returns and exchanges or to have alterations done.

You guys check back tomorrow, because I will have a list of some early access Black Friday deals and the perfect Thanksgiving outfit! So I will see you then, thanks for stopping by today.

Now that we are almost to Thanksgiving, it’s time to start thinking about what you will be wearing to your holiday parties this year!  I do most of my holiday shopping online because I’m just not a big fan of the holiday crowds. 🙂  Even though it may seem a little early, ordering your holiday party gear now allows ample time for shipping and possibly exchanging before the holiday parties kick into high gear after Thanksgiving.  I have a few ideas coming up for you over the next couple of weeks so stay tuned for more to come! PLUS – I have entire holiday shopping page dedicated to helping you find the perfect Holiday outfits!

Every year I get invited to at least one tacky or ugly Christmas sweater party.   I love these parties because I like to see what everyone found.  Homemade sweaters always tend to be the best ones! If you are on the un-crafty side like me, many stores sell a wide variety of cute ugly Christmas sweaters for you to chose from.  You can really pair these with anything from leggings or jeans and boots to a cute metallic pleated midi skirt and heels.  You could even add some cute Christmas leggings to your cart to go full blown comfy Christmas outfit.

I feel like the whole tacky sweater parties trend made these sweaters cute again.  I would totally rock many of these sweaters for a fun Christmas morning outfit with those same Christmas or solid color leggings. Coffee, mimosas, and presents with everyone in their best tacky sweater.  Sounds perfect!

Be sure to swing by tomorrow because I have my favorite and most fun gift guide I have ever created for the blog!  I will give you a hint: It will probably come in handy at your next tacky Christmas sweater party! So make sure to come by!! Until then, have a great day!

12 Fall Dresses under $100!

Houston Fashion Blogger shares 12 fall dresses under 100 dollars.

five  |  six  | seven  | eight
nine  |  ten  |  eleven | twelve

I feel like we are all counting down the days until we can start wearing our chunky knits and big scarves.  They are cozy, comfy, and fabulous!  Right now the warm with a cool breeze weather is just right for a cute fall dress.  I have found so many cute fall dresses under 100 this season for both work and casual weekends.

Picture some of the above with your cute new booties or riding boots, paired with a denim jacket or utility vest, or killer pair of heels or flats and chunky jewelry. These 12 were my favorite picks because ONE they can all be styled different ways throughout the season, and TWO I thought it was a great selection of both office and weekend options.  My favorite is probably twelve.  I picture it with a denim jacket and cowboy boots perfect for a state fair or rodeo.  Although two is close second as the perfect dress to go from work to happy hour.

I own dress three (last seen here).  It’s super comfy and has pockets! WIN!  I also have the maroon version of dress four.  This dress works year round for me! I have styled it previously here and here.  So, which one is your favorite??

Shopbop Fall Sale (Code Inside)

Best of the shopbop sale 2016 including many items under $100

gray sweater  |  faux fur vest  | long cardigan  | sweater dress  | striped sweater
pink clutch  |  sunglasses  |  satchel
gray jeans  | distressed jeans  | red heels  | black heels  | gray over the knee boots

Good Morning! Your eyes are not deceiving you, I am posting off schedule.  I originally planned on sharing my favorites from the BIG Shopbop Fall Sale on Friday.  But when I started putting this post together, many items were already gone or limited quantities.   I didn’t want to put a post up with a bunch of out of stock items, especially since I found some great deals under $100!

While the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale will always be my #1, the Shopbop sales run high in the rankings for top sales of the year.  This one is buy more save more, so spend under $500 save 25% and over $500 save 30%.  I usually partner with my bestie on this sale, so that we can get that 30% off.  One of us orders everything, and then the other pays them back their share.  (shh my little secret!)

THE MAIN THING TO REMEMBER is to use code MAINEVENT16  at checkout to score the discount.  There are exclusions like Kate Spade and some Karen Walker sunnies, but Shopbop has made it so easy this year.  All items included have the MainEvent16 item listed on their description and when you are scrolling through all the things.  I really liked that they did this, because I always end up with one thing in my cart that’s not included.

Below are a few of my favorites from the sale, some great under $100 deals, some great splurge items,  and a few items that you’ve seen here on the blog.  The prices shown are the pre-discount prices.  Remember items and sizes go fast, and the sale ends Friday night!  Happy shopping and Happy almost Weekend Ya’ll!
