Olive Green Tank Top + Rose Gold Aviators
Hello Hello! How’s your week going? Mine has been smooth sailing so far. I’m headed out of town on a long weekend to South Texas, and I am ready for it. We are flying, and I thought it would be really smart to just pack a carry on since it’s such a short trip. I am so not a light packer. The next 2 nights will be filled with some outfit planning and probably a little editing, so I can fit all the things in my little bag. Any tips for flying with just a carry on are appreciated!
Now let’s talk fashion! This outfit is one that I would wear as a summer to fall transitional outfit. We stay in summer time temps through September and sometimes even October. My transitional outfits tend to feature summer pieces like wedges and tank tops, but in fall colors like olive green and brown. I also start pulling out my black skinny jeans just a bit more when September hits. If you want to amp up the fall in this outfit, you can change out my wedges for booties or even a pair of leopard flats. For cooler days, you can add a blue denim jacket to this look.
One color combo I love for the summer to fall transitional time is olive green and rose gold. Rose gold is a great jewelry color to wear year round, but it really shines against fall colors like olive green and burgundy. Over the summer, I added to my rose gold collection with a pair of rose gold aviators. It’s a decently affordable pair with a slightly bigger lens size compared to my other aviator sunglasses. The lens and frames are rose gold, but the lens is mirrored so you can’t really tell in the pics since it’s reflecting the pretty palm trees.

Fall Trend: Polka Dot Top
Happy Friday!! Ya’ll I had so much fun visiting my friend in San Antonio earlier this week. It rained most of the time I was there, but we made the most of it and still had a blast. Most importantly, I was able to enjoy margaritas and tex-mex along the Riverwalk.
Plaid is always a popular print in the fall, and this year polka dots are joining in as a hot fall trend. This polka dot top even comes in gorgeous warm earth tone brown color, perfect for fall! I love tops that have this tucked in look. It’s doing all the hardwork for you of trying to maintain that perfect tuck throughout the day. This one has a deep v, perfect for pairing with layered necklaces for a weekend or date night look. For work, you may want to consider pairing a cami underneath depending on how it drapes on you.
One color combo I am loving right now is black and brown. It has such an effortless chic feel to it, and it gives me the fall feels. I featured this combo last week too with my suede skirt.

Denim Jacket & All Black Outfit
Hello Ladies! Sometimes the simplest outfit filled with closet staples can turn into the chicest casual outfit. All of these pieces live on major repeat in my closet, not just in summer but throughout the year. A fan girl of the all black outfit for any season, I love pairing it with the brown wedges and crossbody bag to create a fun, casual summer outfit.
I’m someone who is always cold, so a denim jacket is a must for me in Summer. I tend to get cold indoors when everyone is blasting the A/C. It’s also a fun addition to add a little color to an all black look. You can also tie the jacket around your waist to break up the two black pieces. My denim jacket is from H&M, but the one I linked I own in white and love!
If you are looking for a good quality tank top for summer, I love these!! I’ve posted this olive one on the blog before in this post. I also own it in white, and I love that it is not see-through! I own two in black because I wear them so much. These tanks will be great in fall and spring to wear in a layered look under cardigans and jackets.

Ruffle Off the Shoulder Top
Hello Ladies! How was your weekend? I took full advantage of the extra long weekend to shop, soak in some sun, catch up on blog work, and hang out with friends. I crammed in as much fun as possible. My favorite sale purchase is probably these shoes. They are perfect for Spring and Summer! I love the slightly lower than my normal heel on them to wear to outdoor events.
My off the shoulder love continues with this striped ruffle top. The stripes on this are navy and white, sometimes they look black depending on the lighting. I love this top for date night, happy hour, or girls’ night out. I wore this ruffle off the shoulder top out a few weeks ago with distressed jeans (seen here) for a casual happy hour with my girlfriends. I love that it can be easily dressed up or down. Also, it looks gorgeous with white jeans for a dressy daytime look. It also comes with a strap to wrap around the waist, but I prefer it loose and flowy.
Also, these double hoop earrings are my latest jewelry obsession. I have them in constant rotation for both work and weekends. I love the unique double hoop and the delicate simple style. The simplicity makes them work well with so many different outfits. Bonus, these earrings are only $10!
