Fall Trend: Suede Skirt
Happy Friday! This should be an interesting weekend for me. I am babysitting my BFF’s 4 year old daughter for the full weekend! I have watched her before for a few hours, but this is the longest and hopefully I will survive. HA! If I survive, I am heading to San Antonio for a few days next week to visit my ZTA little sister. I am so excited for this trip! We both share a love for shopping, Nordstrom, and wine. I’m hoping tacos and margaritas on the Riverwalk will also happen.
I’m starting my fall outfit inspiration with one of my favorite outfits I have shot so far for fall. I have been skirt obsessed since spring, so this hot fall trend of a mini suede skirt aligns perfectly with my style right now. I’m warning you I will probably buy more. 🙂 I love the color on this one, so perfect and beautiful for fall. The buckle details and front slit help make this one stand out a little from all the other suede skirts. I love that I can pair it with something as simple as a basic black tee, and it still looks fabulous.
I love pairing mini skirts with boots. These slouchy black boots from last season work perfectly with this outfit. You can also do heels to show a little more leg. Also, ya’ll this necklace is so gorgeous!! It has the prettiest rose gold shimmer. While I think my photog did a perfect job of capturing it’s beauty, it is even more gorgeous in person! It looks so good against black, white, and fall jewel tones like burgundy, violet, and dark green.
I hope ya’ll have a fabulous weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by this week!

Gray and Black Outfit
Hello Lovelies!! How was your extra long weekend?!? I spent mine hanging with friends, relaxing at home, and getting ready for my trip to New York this week. I cannot believe it is already fashion week! I leave tomorrow and still have all the packing to do. I’m not a light packer to begin with, and NYFW is like a bring all the things kind of situation. I’m trying to make it in one bag, but we will see how that goes.
My color crush combo lately has been a gray and black outfit. I have paired these gray skinny jeans with every black top I own this summer. My favorite outfit was a simple black cami with jeans and these heels. To transition this color combo to fall, I traded my sleeveless black tops for this cute striped blouse. I love the bigger sleeve and boxy design. I think it helps make your waist look smaller with skinny jeans.
Also, these black patent heels are my current faves for fall! I find this brand so comfy and easy to break in. This is my second pair of this style, and I plan to buy a couple more colors over the next few months.
I hope you all have a fabulous week! If you want to follow along on my NYFW adventures, be sure to follow over on Instagram (@karenkocich). I will also be sharing here after I return from my trip for those of you not on Instagram.

Striped Maxi Dress + GIVEAWAY!
Hello Ladies!! Ya’ll I have been on the market for a cute striped maxi dress for quite some time. I have tried on a few but most of them have been too long for my petite 5’3 height. Too say I was excited when I found this striped dress in the petite section of Loft would probably be a slight understatement. I love the overall slightly loose fit, the length is perfect with both flats and wedges on me, and I love the size of the stripes. The narrow navy and white stripes gives this dress a fun nautical feel. The navy stripe is also perfect for styling with my brown wedges and crossbody. I could not resist adding in my yellow statement earrings to this outfit.
A striped maxi dress like this one will also cross well into early fall with the addition of a denim jacket. The material on this one is a little heavy. I probably would not wear it to an outdoor party in our heat, but it would definitely work indoors.
For all my Anthropologie lovers, at the end of today’s post, I am partnering with some other lovely blogger babes to give away an Anthro gift card! Be sure to scroll down and enter! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope ya’ll have a great week!

Striped Bodysuit + a Pop of Yellow
Hello Lovelies!! Guess who is continuing her bodysuit obsession…. I think this blue striped bodysuit is so cute for summer!! I styled it with my white skinny jeans and block heel sandals for a cute weekend date night look. This outfit would also be cute for brunch or a girls’ night out. You could go more casual with denim shorts and flat sandals.
These yellow statement earrings were the perfect compliment to the blue stripes. My yellow earrings have been on heavy rotation this summer. I think I might need to order another yellow pair soon just to mix it up. I was so unsure when I picked them out how often I would wear them, but they pair well with so much!! It’s the perfect pop of color against my dark brunette hair. They are also super lightweight!
I have the busiest week ahead of me! I’m so glad for my relaxing last weekend to help me prepare for all the things going on this week. I have a few more summer outfits planned to share with ya’ll before starting the transition into fall outfits. Our Texas summer lasts sometimes until October, so I’m still over here buying summer things. I hope you all have a fabulous week ahead! Check back Friday when I will be sharing a review of my current Fitbit! See you then!
