Summer Work Wear: Sleeveless Sweater
Hello Ladies! Happy Friday! I’m so ready for this weekend. I’m headed to a really fun street type festival called White Linen Night on Saturday, and it should be lots of fun! Everyone wears white, walks around to check out local shops, and enjoys wine all with good friends. It’s always a fun event and the perfect excuse to wear the dress from this post.
Ok so it may be casual Friday at work, but I’m still going to throw a little summer work wear at you today. The fun thing about a Texas summer is that it’s 100 degrees outside and about 60 inside. 🙂 I like to try and find summer work clothes that work with both hot and chilly temps. This sleeveless sweater is the perfect example of that kind of piece. It is warm and cozy for the office, but it’s sleeveless for when I have to step outside on my lunch break or for happy hour.
Not only is it perfect for summer, but it’s going to work for fall too giving me more use out of it. This work outfit could work for both summer and fall. I mean our fall is still on the warmer side. For a more casual look, you can pair this top with jeans and boots or booties for a weekend date night look.

NSALE Find: Cold Shoulder Sweater & Link Up
Hello Hello! I’m sharing another cute little Nordstrom Anniversary Sale find today! Ok I know it’s totally not the season or weather for this top, but by the time it is I feel like this cute cold shoulder sweater will no longer be available. I decided why not share it now and while it’s still on sale!
This sweater has several cute little details from the lace like knit across the chest to the pretty shoulder ruffles to the fun shoulder cutouts. I liked this sweater because it was different and had some pretty and feminine touches.
The sweater is on the thinner side, so you may need a cami underneath it. I didn’t wear one for the pics, but I might when I officially wear it out. I love thin lightweight sweaters, because we really don’t get much cold winter days, so they are perfect.
Also, you guys I found my purple bag online!!! Like the exact one! I purchased mine at Nordstrom Rack a few years ago, and I rarely find it anywhere online. So if you eye it every time I share it, there it is!!

Gray Utility Vest
Happy Friday Loves! I am sharing another one of my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale finds, this cozy gray utility vest. For winter and fall, you can pair this vest with a long sleeve tee or dress. For late summer or early fall, I love how it looks paired with another sleeveless top like my favorite strappy cami or even a sleeveless dress would be cute.
This vest is made of the softest sweatshirt fleece material. I love the pocket heavy utility look to this vest. It gives it a more structured look in contrast to the softer material. The dark gray is so gorgeous too. I love pairing dark gray with jewel tones like maroon, purple, and navy.

Floral Cold Shoulder Blouse + Link Up
Late last week, my first round of purchases from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale arrived and of course I couldn’t wait to start sharing all the cute outfits. So get ready for some fall outfit inspiration over the next couple of weeks! I wanted to share now while they are still on sale, and hopefully still available. Seriously the items in this sale are going so fast! I’m still waiting for these jeans to come back in my size so I can buy them.
I have a few favorite tops from my purchases, but this one may be my favorite and it’s only $32! You know I love pretty much anything that comes in burgundy, and the color is just gorgeous for fall. I really like the cold shoulder, high neck, and baby doll design of this top. Lots of things going on, but they work so well together. The top is comfortable and lightweight which is nice for our warmer fall days. I love the length perfect with skinny jeans.
Speaking of skinny jeans, these are only $39!!! They sold out during early access and made a brief appearance day 1 of public access. The denim is a little thinner than my $100+ pairs, but they fit really well and are comfortable. I did go down one size compared to what I normally buy. I have heard good things about this brand, so I am excited to give these a try.
Last but not least, my gorgeous peep toe booties. My only shoe purchase this year, and I am so happy with it. These come in three colors, but I was really drawn to this grayer shade. I don’t own any other shoe in this color, and I think it’s going to pair great with fall jewel tones and all of my more neutral faves like black and beige.
For the fit on these, I ordered my regular size. I contemplated if I should go up a half size, but I decided to stick with these in hopes they stretch because they are not super tight. The main area of concern for me is the portion that goes over the toes. When I was walking around shooting photos in them, I didn’t really notice any tightness, so I think it was a good decision.
