Instagram Roundup – Summer Outfit Ideas
Happy Friday!! Who is ready for the weekend?!?! It’s been a pretty busy week, so I am definitely ready. Our forecast is a full weekend of rain, so I’m planning to chill indoors, watch Netflix, and catch up on a few blog and home tasks.
Since the official start of Summer is almost here, I wanted to share a few summer outfit ideas from things I have worn recently. All of these outfits were originally posted to Instagram. So if you want to see more outfit of the day inspiration, be sure to follow me over there at @karenkocich. The last pic is from Instastories. I have been playing with posting a few #ootd snaps in there too. Mostly for those days when I don’t have someone to snap a pic for me.
Also for those of you that used to use the LiketoKnow.it service to shop your favorite Instagram posts, you may have noticed a few months ago the email portion of the service stopped working. This was due to changes Facebook and Instagram made to 3rd Party Apps. I was bummed because I loved the ease of liking photos and going through the email every night.
If you still want to be able to receive outfit details from my Instagram posts, you still can just using a few different methods. One – Head to my Shop Instagram page. I have a direct link in my Instagram bio and you can find it here at the top of the page under SHOP, the click Shop Instagram. Click on the picture you are interested in, and all the pieces of my outfit will pop up. You can also find info from things posted to Instastories here too.
The second option is to use the LiketoKnow.it app. You can find me under my Instagram handle KARENKOCICH. If you screenshot photos, they will load the info in the app for you. Personally, I rarely use this part of the service. I usually save the photos in IG that I want info on and then search for them in the app later. In the app, I also follow a few of my favorite bloggers too. I love this feature because they have no algorithm so I see all the posts in real time. One of their newest features is to wish list your items, so you can come back to them later. I have been using that feature quite a bit lately.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and drop your Instagram handle in the comments. I always love finding new fashion inspiration to follow!

Workwear: Pink Pocket Skirt
Hello Hello!! How was your weekend? We had our family reunion, so tons of family time for me this weekend. During the Memorial Weekend sales, I hit up Loft for some new work clothes. I wanted a few lightweight pieces that could work in a variety of outfits for the office.
This pink pocket skirt was an instant eye catcher in the store. The color is so perfect for both spring and summer, and the pockets are the perfect added touch. Pink can be such a versatile color. It works well with neutrals like black, white, and ivory, but it also mixes well with other colors like yellow, blues, and red. I paired this skirt with a navy striped top and denim jacket last week for work.
This sleeveless tie neck top is so perfect for both the office and weekends. It’s a black and white design, but looks gray from a distant. I have paired it with jeans and gray slacks. You can also leave the tie neck portion open for a cute v-neck look.
I personally love these two pieces paired together for a chic and effortless work look. Gray and pink is always a favorite color combo of mine.
I hope ya’ll have a great week ahead and thanks for stopping by!

So I Bought a Bodysuit…
Happy Friday!!! Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like bodysuits have been growing in popularity lately. I was a little unsure of them at first, but I finally decided I had to try one out. I ordered 3 different ones and trying them on made me feel a little like Goldilocks. One was too long, one was a bit too tight, but the third was absolute perfection. I figured I’d run through a few of my and my friends questions and concerns over bodysuits, in case you have any of the same ones.
Let’s start with the main one, how do you go to the bathroom in this thing? I feel like everyone who has ever headed out in a romper has had that moment when you suddenly realize that you have to take the whole thing off when it’s time to go the bathroom. Super glamorous, especially if this is taking place in a not so clean bathroom (think bars, concert port-o-potties). Needless to say, it causes me to make sure I really love a romper before purchasing. Here’s the great thing about bodysuits, someone thought to put snaps on the bottom! Think a baby’s onesie. No getting naked in the bathroom, just a few easy snaps.
Second, are they comfortable? The fit is just like a one piece swimsuit. I find mine comfortable. Just like with a swimsuit, you will probably have to try a few to find ones that fit your body type and that you feel comfortable in. I’m petite, so for me it’s finding one that is not too long. The bottom portion comes in either thong fit or full bottom, so it’s a pick your preference kind of thing.
What’s my favorite thing about them? I love that I don’t have to worry about my shirt coming untucked. This is one of those little annoyances of mine. A bodysuit will stay in place as you move or dance around.
What do you wear it with? Everything! Jeans, skirts, shorts. I can’t wait to wear this one with one of my pleated midi skirts soon.
Hopefully, my little bodysuit review was helpful if you have been considering one. In this one, I am wearing a US6. Let me know if you have any other questions, and I will be sure to answer them.
For today’s post, I styled my bodysuit for an upcoming girls’ night out. Dark wash skinny jeans, bright pink statement earrings, and floral statement heels come together to create the perfect show stopping outfit for a night out on the town. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, and thank you so much for stopping by!

Dressy Casual Summer Outfit
Hello!! Did you catch my post over the weekend? I rounded up some of the best summer wedges. If you missed it, you can check it out here. I had a fun weekend filled with relaxing on Saturday and hanging out with friends on Sunday.
We are definitely moving into the heart of summer and that summer heat. When planning outfits, I always try to take the heat into consideration. I love this lightweight striped tank for those hot days. It’s a stretchy, breathable material. It comes in a few other prints and colors, but I’m a sucker for the stripes, especially to pair with white jeans.
Remember those floral shoes I mentioned picking up during the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale, well here they are!! (And Currently marked down even more!) I’m so in love with subtle feminine floral print, the delicate strap and knot design, and the mule style. These heels have a slightly lower heel than I normally wear, but I love this for outdoor summer parties. The stripes and floral pair perfectly together to create the perfect dressy casual summer outfit to survive an outdoor party.
Thanks for stopping by and reading!
