Hey there and Happy Friday!! I hope you all have had a great week. The week went by suprisingly fast for me. Usually short weeks always feel the longest. I am really excited to not have many things on my plate this weekend. You may have noticed that I have made a few tweaks to the blog design lately, including a fun new logo! I’m still playing and even considering a few more design changes. I’m planning on spending a little time this weekend checking out a few layout options. I can get so lost in all this behind the scenes fun that I tend to save it for slow weekends like this one.
We snapped these photos last weekend while at my mother-in-law’s house. Since we were headed to the country, I figured it was a great opportunity to bust out my new rain boots. It’s hardly rained since I bought them. My MIL’s property often has several deer on it, but of course they scattered while we were shooting photos.
I have had my eye on this top for several months, but I thought the regular price tag was a bit high for something I would just be wearing casually around the house or to run quick errands. It finally went on sale, so I jumped on it. I love the pink color and the soft material. I love wearing v-necks in summer. I think it helps with that whole heat thing.
I finally splurged on these Hunter rain boots too. I got tired of waiting for them to go on sale. I decided on black so that I could wear them for every season and to work if needed. I kind of still really want a pair in pink or blue too. I’m hoping to find a pair on sale during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale next week.
Are ya’ll excited for the sale?!? If you plan to shop the sale, be sure to check out my last post to enter to win the $1225 giveaway to Nordstrom!! Also, check back on Monday when I’m going to share some of my personal tips for shopping a big sale like this one. The first time I shopped it, I was so overwhelmed. I have definitely learned some great tips to prepare before the sale and for getting the best deals during the sale! So be sure to come back and check it out!
I hope ya’ll have a wonderful weekend, see ya next week!
