Happy Weekend! With the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in full swing, I wanted to pop in and share some of my favorite shoes of the sale. When pulling this list, I looked for classic styles and colors, with a few styles I think are making a comeback like the mule and slides.
Booties are always a fan favorite and with good reason! You can pretty much wear booties year round! I style mine in the fall with jeans and plaids or tees and long sleeve dresses, in winter with jeans and cardigans and sweaters, in spring with dresses and jeans, and in summer with dresses, and shorts. I tend to gravitate to the brown shades, but I purchased the gray pair this year because you know gray obsessed over here.
Mules have slowly been working their way back onto the shoe scene I personally LOVE them!! I own several different styles from heels to block heels to wedges. For this sale, I picked up the gray pair. I love wearing them with cuffed jeans or dresses. Slides are also increasing in popularity. I keep thinking it’s like an adult flip flop. 🙂 I love being able to easily kick off my shoes at work or when visiting a friends house, and both of these shoe styles give me that option.
If you are looking for a comfy classic black heel, these Charles David heels are perfect for you! I owned a pair previously and wore them so much because they were so comfy and had a professional look.

Yellow Floral Top + White Denim
Hello and Happy Friday!! So for all my Nordstrom Cardholders, how did early access day one go for you?? I scored some AMAZING pieces this year. I can’t wait to style them on the blog. Now let’s take a sale talk break and talk about this gorgeous yellow floral top. I love the feminine look of this top with the floral design and ruffle details. I have a few sleeveless high neck tops like this and love wearing them for summer. They work with skinny jeans and shorts for the weekend, and this top style also works or work with skinny ankle pants for tucked into a pencil skirt. Side Note on this top, it does have some open crochet panels on it, so you will need to wear a cami underneath it.

It’s HERE!! My favorite sale of the year officially launched today! If you are a Nordstrom cardholder, you can officially start shopping. I have checked out ALL of the sale items, and I’m sharing my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access Top Picks below for you. This year I included a new section, Quicksellers. The picks in this section are based on the items I notice sell out fast every year.
I also made sure to include the categories that were top voted in my survey. Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to fill out the survey. When I looked at the results, we all seem to be on the same page as to what we are hoping to buy during this sale. I’m so excited to share these finds below with you and help you out throughout the sale.
For my non-cardholders, your shopping day will be next Friday July 20th. Nordstrom does do a restock of many items especially on anything in the original catalog. So if you don’t want to sign up for a credit card, don’t worry you will still have a good selection to pick from, and I will be sharing all the most fabulous in stock items for you.

Little Red Dress
Hello!! A little black dress or LBD for short is a staple in any woman’s closet. It’s a dress you can quickly grab for the office, date night, a cocktail event, or a wedding. I have several LBDs for various types of occasions. But today, we are talking about the other dress I think every woman should have one of – the little red dress.
I love wearing the color red. It’s a bold, statement making color, and pairs well with everything. Add red to a fitted dress, and you have an instant girlboss look. Red is such a power color and can give any woman a quick boost of confidence. A little red dress is perfect for an important meeting, date night, and cocktail events. Basically, everywhere you would were a LBD, you can wear a LRD.
This dress in particular I love because the simple silhouette paired with the bold red makes it work for a variety of engagements. The cap sleeve, midi look will work in the office, while the body con fit makes this dress work for cocktail events and date night. For the sizing on this one, I’m wearing a US4 which fits like a normal 2, and I did have it altered taking the hem up about 2 inches.
