Shades of Gray Cardigan
Where are my cardigan lovers at?? I’m loving this gray cardigan for fall. It’s more of an open knit so it’s perfect for those days when you need a light layer. I love it for the cool morning/warmer afternoon days. Per my usual, I’ve been loving mixing grays, black and white this fall. It’s one of those combos that can look chic even when part of a super casual look like this one.
Also, if you are looking for a good layering tank, I LOVE these. I’ve worn them a few times on the blog. I own them in a few colors. I love that I can wear my regular bra with these, and that they are a thick material. The white is not at all see through. They are from Gap, so you can usually find them on sale every few weeks.
I hope you all have a great week ahead! I have another monochromatic style look coming for you later this week, and fun little beauty DIY, stay tuned!

Leopard Print Blouse Under $50
Hello Friday!! I have had the busiest work week, and I cannot wait to start my weekend. I just picked up Emily Giffin’s new book All We Ever Wanted from the library, and tonight’s plans including reading and relaxing with a glass of wine. It’s the perfect end to a crazy week.
I’m pretty sure I have found the perfect leopard print blouse under $50. I don’t own too many leopard print pieces because I am so picky about the look of the print. I don’t want it to be too orange, and I want the spots to look natural and not manufactured. I’ve been searching for a leopard print blouse to please my picky eye for a few years, and finally found one! Bonus, it’s only $49! I’m wearing the XS. It has a loose boxy fit to it.
I paired this print with an all black ensemble, because I think it has such a chic and sophisticated feel to it. You could also pair this top with a black pencil skirt for work or a black leather pencil skirt for date night. I’ve also tried it on with my suede skirt from a couple weeks ago, and they look super cute together. What’s your favorite way to wear leopard print? Let me know in the comments!
I hope ya’ll have a fabulous weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Let’s talk shoes, more specifically FALL BOOTIES! I love booties because you can start wearing them at the start of fall when the weather is still warmer and wear most of them through spring. If you live in the south, you can usually wear peep toe booties in the winter except for those few freezing weeks each year. I rounded up some classic neutral styles including a few low heel/flat styles for you. One of them is waterproof! I just learned about waterproof booties from a friend. She had a few pairs from this brand, and I loved how cute and stylish they look. We have had a rainy fall and we usually get lots of rain in the spring, so I may need to get a pair!
I added another peep toe bootie to my shoe collection this month. I have had my eye on them for awhile, and finally just broke down and bought them. I love that I can wear them both to work and with jeans. This year’s hot bootie trend is all about making a statement. The hot color trend is red and white, and the hot print is leopard and python. Almost all of these booties come in different color options. So if you like the style but not the color, you may be in luck to find your preferred color option. Also, about half of the booties I picked this year are under $100 and all are under $200.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Shoe Shopping!

Sweater and Midi Skirt Outfit
Hello Hello! You are not off on your days, I am changing my posting schedule up this week. I have a surplus of fun content to share with ya’ll, so I’m going back to my Mon/Wed/Fri posting schedule for a bit. I’m excited to be back on this schedule and can’t wait to share more with you each week!
One of my favorite fall and winter workwear looks is a sweater and midi skirt outfit. I love a chunky knit sweater paired with a longer skirt. Two sweater options for this look are to go with a shorter slightly oversized sweater like this gray one or a fitted tunic length one. I couldn’t pass up on this gray and pink color combo, so I went with this shorter knit for this look.
Ya’ll this skirt is drop dead gorgeous!! It’s going to be perfect to pair with a fitted body suit for a holiday party later this year or for date night. It has the prettiest pink metallic shimmer. I love the pleated look to increase the beauty of this skirt both walking and standing still. This midi skirt is also really comfy! Because it is a longer midi skirt on my 5’3 height, I opted for a nude heel to help elongate the look and keep it from looking frumpy.
A sneak peek of my content for the week – I’ll be talking my favorite subject SHOES and the most perfect leopard print blouse under $50! See you back here Wednesday and Friday for all the fall fashion fun!
