Wrinkle Free Work Dress
Kicking off this week with a little work wear inspiration for you! I have been wearing so many skirts and dresses to work lately. With warm/hot weather sneaking in, I feel this trend will continue well into summer for me. When shopping for work clothes, I look for a few different things – comfort, washing directions, and does it wrinkle easy.
Most days at work, I sit at my desk working away on my computer. While I like what I wear to be professional and fashionable, I also want to be comfortable. You ever have those morning where you consider wearing your pjs to work because you are too comfy too change. I like having comfy things that are also office friendly, it’s a win-win!
This navy floral dress is so comfy that I want them to make it in more colors! It’s a super soft and thick jersey knit style material. The fit is a shift style, but slightly comes in at the waist to still give a little shape. It’s probably one of my comfiest work dresses! The print and flutter sleeve detail give it a little feminine flair.
My other favorite thing – it’s a wrinkle free work dress! This fabric is one of my favorites to buy clothes in because it rarely needs ironing. Occasionally, I run late in the morning and having a few ready to go work pieces is great on these days.
You can also toss on a denim jacket and flat sandals or wedges with this dress and have a ready to go weekend or casual outfit. Speaking of weekends, how was yours? I celebrated a few birthdays, ate yummy food, and then ended with a relaxing Sunday at home. It was a pretty good mix of fun and relaxation. Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Anyone else still full from yesterday!?!?! It was good though, worth it! Now that Thanksgiving is over and done, Hello Christmas Season! It’s a classic outfit combination I recreate within my closet over and over again. It start with a fitted top like this adorable bow tie sweater top paired with a cute skirt, and finished off with the perfect slouchy suede boots.
I have a gray and black flared skirt I keep in rotation for this outfit combo. This season, I added this cute black one. I love the white details on the bottom for a different look to a solid color or full print skirt. I often pair this look with a solid fitted sweater or tee, but I couldn’t resist this adorable bow tie top with puff sleeves. I think it was made for this skirt and boots combo! It would also be cute with jeans for a casual holiday outfit.

Holiday Dinner Dress
Happy Thanksgiving Week! What are your plans for the week? I have to work for the first half, but the second half is all about family, comfort foods, and sale shopping! Don’t worry I am planning a big sales list on Friday and Monday for you along with a cute fall work outfit post on Friday. I’m going to spend the next few days making my gift buying list and a list of all my places to check out for a little treat yourself shopping. I’ve been holding back on a few purchases to hopefully find them on sale this week.
With Thanksgiving just a few days a way, I wanted to share the perfect holiday dinner dress that can also be worn to the office. If you saw my casual Thanksgiving outfit post on Friday, then you have gathered that I’m loving the brown and black for Thanksgiving this year.
This dress is so comfy ya’ll! Tie waists and Thanksgiving are totally meant for each other too. If you over indulge, you can just loosen the tie a little. 😉 I also love the ruffle sleeve on this dress. It has a band at the wrist which really makes this dress work in a variety of weather, perfect for our crazy Texas weather. I wore this dress to work and pulled up the sleeves to 3/4 length during the hot part of the day and pulled them down in the cool morning and evening.
Also, these peep toe booties are the same ones from Friday. I love that they pair so perfectly with both jeans and dresses! They come in a few colors, but I love this brown shade for fall and spring.

Navy Tweed Dress
Happy Friday friends!! When I was in New York with my gal pal, she mentioned that I should watch the show Gossip Girl. I’d started watching it years ago, but only made it through a few episodes. I decided to give it another try after she mentioned all the amazing fashion in the show. Now a couple months later, I am officially addicted. I’m currently in season 3 and loving every episode.
When I put this outfit together, I immediately felt the impact the show was having on me. This navy tweed dress and striped blouse combo reminds of a Blair Waldorf look. I’m just missing my headband. I have such a love for a variety of styles flipping from classic preppy to boho chic to all black edge all in one week. It makes the show even more interesting for me because I can see myself in the outfits of every character.
Ok enough about my new addiction, let’s talk more about this outfit. This navy tweed dress is so gorgeous and comfy! It work perfectly with a blouse underneath for cold days or standalone for warm days. The ribbon detail at the neckline is such a pretty and feminine touch. I love this dress paired with my taupe slouchy boots, although a pair of nude heels would work perfectly too.
I’m so excited to be bringing a little extra holiday content to the blog this year, stay tuned. In preparation, I am decorating for Christmas a little early this year, like this weekend. I want to be sure I have time to shoot everything and share it with ya’ll here before the holidays arrive. First on my to do list today, find a tree. Wish me luck.
