White Wrap Blouse
Happy Friday! I don’t think there is a more classic and easy look than a white top with jeans and heels. It’s such a good combo to create a slightly dressy, but also casual and effortless outfit any time of year. With hight waist jeans growing in popularity, I have added a few shorter tops into my closet that pair well with this jean style.
This white wrap blouse is so cute with jeans and the silkier type material adds an instant dressiness to a jeans look. I opted to pair it with my tan suede heels to keep the overall look more classic. You could change it up with a fun color or print. I did still add a little bit of wow factor with my pink statement necklace. This top has the perfect neckline for short chunkier necklaces.
I also plan to layer this top under jackets and cardigans this fall and winter season. It will be cute with boots for a casual look or skirts and work slacks for an office outfit.

Hello Hello! Happy October!! Let’s be honest, I really love the month of October. Probably because it’s more when our weather starts feeling a little more like fall, so I can start wearing all my fall things. I also love all the pumpkin things, fall decor, cozy nights in, enjoying some time outdoors, patio and wine weather! In Houston, we tend to have tons of festivals in October because it’s finally cool enough to venture outside again lol. It means every weekend, we have plenty to do!
I definitely noticed your interest peaking on fall fashion basics last month. Two pairs of jeans made this Top 5! Both are staples in my wardrobe this season. Shoes were also popular last month including a fall classic – the brown bootie, and a fall trend – snakeskin heels.

Easy Fall Outfit Formula
At the beginning of September, I released a free fall wardrobe basics checklist. I wanted to share an outfit idea based on a few items from that list. I created the checklist based on some of my top outfit formulas for the season. This one is a pretty simple and easy fall outfit formula that can restyled many ways with what you already have in your closet!
What is an Outfit Formula?
It’s an outfit that can be repeated throughout the season by changing out different styles of the same piece to create multiple outfits.
My Easy Fall Outfit Formula
Long Cardigan + Striped or Solid Tee or Tank Top + Skinny Jeans + Booties
If you take a look back at many of my posts featuring cardigans, you may see this formula repeated just using different pieces. It’s a great go to layered look for fall, and you probably already own most of these pieces. To add even more to this look, you can add a floral printed tee, striped cardigan, long necklace, or change out your booties for flats or heels.

Cozy Blush Pink Cardigan
Happy Friday!!! Ya’ll know I have a major love for a good cardigan and a layered look during the fall season. Spoiler Alert: I have a few cardigan looks coming at you this fall! I added in a few colors that I didn’t already have in my closet. Truth I already have a blush pink cardigan, but it’s more pink and this one is more earth tone rose, so totally different. 😉
This oversized blush pink cardigan has all the comfy vibes, and I love the shorter sleeve for the south. It’s still a thick and warm cardigan, but the shorter sleeve gives you a little breathing room. I immediately thought of ivory and gray when I saw this cardigan. It’s a different lighter color look for fall. I did add in my fall trend snakeskin heels and my newest Kendra from her fall collection to give it a few trendy fall vibes. This cardigan would also look great worn over a fitted dress or just tossed on for a day of lounging around the house.
