At the beginning of September, I released a free fall wardrobe basics checklist.  I wanted to share an outfit idea based on a few items from that list.  I created the checklist based on some of my top outfit formulas for the season.  This one is a pretty simple and easy fall outfit formula that can restyled many ways with what you already have in your closet!

What is an Outfit Formula?

It’s an outfit that can be repeated throughout the season by changing out different styles of the same piece to create multiple outfits.

My Easy Fall Outfit Formula

Long Cardigan + Striped or Solid Tee or Tank Top + Skinny Jeans + Booties

If you take a look back at many of my posts featuring cardigans, you may see this formula repeated just using different pieces.  It’s a great go to layered look for fall, and you probably already own most of these pieces.  To add even more to this look, you can add a floral printed tee, striped cardigan, long necklace, or change out your booties for flats or heels.

SHOP THE LOOK

Happy Friday!!!  Ya’ll know I have a major love for a good cardigan and a layered look during the fall season.  Spoiler Alert: I have a few cardigan looks coming at you this fall!  I added in a few colors that I didn’t already have in my closet.  Truth I already have a blush pink cardigan, but it’s more pink and this one is more earth tone rose, so totally different. 😉

This oversized blush pink cardigan has all the comfy vibes, and I love the shorter sleeve for the south.  It’s still a thick and warm cardigan, but the shorter sleeve gives you a little breathing room.  I immediately thought of ivory and gray when I saw this cardigan.  It’s a different lighter color look for fall.  I did add in my fall trend snakeskin heels and my newest Kendra from her fall collection to give it a few trendy fall vibes.  This cardigan would also look great worn over a fitted dress or just tossed on for a day of lounging around the house.
