I just don’t think you can have too many little black dresses. Depending on the style, they are perfect for date night, girl’s night out, weddings, work, happy hour, a trip to the theater, I could go on for a while. For a fun office look, I love my little black shift dress. I purchased this one a few years ago from Asos, but I linked a couple similar items above. I could probably wear this style of dress to work every day and be happy. Since the dress is sleeveless, it transitions seasons easily. I would wear this outfit in spring, summer, and early fall. When the weather cools off, this dress pairs perfectly with a cardigan and boots. I love this dress paired with a long cardigan that reaches almost the same length of the dress. I love that the dress has no real shape, but the material is thick so it still holds a structure. Shift dresses are some of the most comfortable wear to work dresses, but the structure really helps this one keep that professional feel. When you have a black dress, your accessory options are endless! It is no lie that I love carrying colorful purses, and they all mix perfectly with a black dress. The jewelry options are also pretty endless too depending on your neckline. This one has a slight turtleneck collar and works perfect with long pendant necklaces and wide bib necklaces. If there was one dress you must have in your closet, a little black shift dress should definitely be up for consideration!!

I am sharing another Instagram favorite with ya’ll today! I wore this a few weeks ago for a fun little Friday Date Night. I love the cutout shoulder of this top and think it helps create the perfect date night outfit. As I get older I realize that looking sexy doesn’t necessarily mean showing tons of skin, but rather showing just the right hint of skin. I think open shoulder tops perfectly show that right amount of skin. I bought this one last fall and it’s probably one of my favorite date night or girl’s night out tops. I also linked some other open shoulder tops for you in the details above. Since this top has a longer length and little flow to it, I love pairing it with skinny jeans. Yes I totally think it is okay to wear white after labor day that is why we have winter white. 🙂 I have also paired this top with some black skinny jeans too for a gorgeous and sexy all black look. I also wore this top with a fun leather skirt and tall boots too. Also, How fabulous are these shoes? These are another old item that I purchased during winter, but I did manage to find a website still selling them for you. I love that these shoes have a part bootie and part pump feel to them. The calendar says Fall, but the weather outside is definitely still in transition mode. Transitioning seasons is all about mixing pieces from both the past and upcoming season. For today’s look, I paired a perfect for spring and summer kimono with my favorite fall booties. I picked up this lightweight kimono last week from the Dao Chloe Dao Boutique in Houston. First off, if you are in Houston, you need to check this place out. The boutique features Chloe’s amazing and beautiful designs, as well as more affordably priced items hand-picked by Chloe. I have been a fan of hers since Project Runway, and love seeing her shows at Fashion Houston. I love her style and always leave her store with some fun new pieces. My favorite thing about this kimono is the color scheme. The colors are a great earth tone for fall, but are on the lighter side which is perfect for spring and summer too. In summer, I would definitely pair this with some shorts and a tank top. I managed to find the exact one at an online boutique and linked it above. I also shared some more kimonos that I think our perfect for transitional weather in the little widget below. For fall, I am all about pairing kimonos with a simple tee and booties! These booties are last season, but I linked a near identical pair that cost way less than mine! When the weather is even cooler, kimonos can also be paired with skinny jeans and riding boots. Happy First Day of Fall!! Okay, in Texas we are still about a month away from cool fall weather, but I figured I can still celebrate on the blog! When I first laid eyes on this scarf from Manoosh, I thought of this maroon dress. I love how the color palette of the scarf works with the wine color of the dress. Plus, the scarf is called Autumnscape, I mean it was meant for the first day of Autumn! I have mentioned Manoosh scarves before in this post. All of their scarves are based on abstract artwork. I always enjoy finding unique pieces, and these scarves definitely fit the one of a kind feel. Plaid and solid color scarves will be taking over soon, and I love that these Manoosh scarves have a different look to them. I was drawn to the earthy tones in this particular one, but their fall collection has even more pretty color options. These brown boots are a few years old and have some definite wear and tear on them, but they definitely come back to life with this earth-toned ensemble. I linked a similar pair for ya’ll above.
