Must Have Shoes for Spring

We took advantage of the big sales weekend to make a few home purchases including a new mattress and this gorgeous new runner for our kitchen. I still have one more item on my sales shopping list, a new pair of shoes or maybe two. I haven’t purchased too many spring sandals in the past couple of years, and I definitely have the itch to for some new ones. Summer and spring sandals are always so fun and pretty, and my closet is ready to welcome something new.
I’m looking at four different styles of shoes which I think are all must have shoes for Spring. I used to be all about the heeled strappy sandal or sky high wedges, and they are still my favorite for the season. But my style leans a little more casual these days, so I’m including a few flat options in my must haves list to help create a well balanced spring shoe collection.
I’ve rounded up some of the cutest shoes in each of these four sections to help complete your spring shoe collection.

How to Style a Floral Vest for Spring

HOW TO STYLE A FLORAL VEST FOR SPRING
Here we go, it’s time for some spring fashion! I always love putting together outfits for spring. It incorporates layering, pretty prints and silhouettes, and gorgeous colors. Not to mention, all of the fabulous heeled sandals and wedges. It’s also a great season for the basics in your closet like a plain white tee, light blue jeans, and tan sandals. I’m kicking off Spring Style hear on the blog with a mix of a few of the items I listed including a basic white top, a beautiful floral print with the perfect pops of color, and my Spring classic light blue ripped jeans
I’ve mentioned in a previous post that vests are trending for me. I love playing around with different ways to layer them. This outfit is all about how to style a floral vest for spring, but at the end of this post, I have an outfit idea for every season. It makes this cropped floral vest a year round must have for your closet. With the right styling (insert cowboy boots), this floral vest can also make a really cute western style or rodeo outfit.
For spring, I wanted to let the print and colors pop. I layered this vest over my white top which really helps colors shine. I chose a cotton button down shirt to dress up this vest outfit. The vest has a loose almost boxy fit, so the tighter fit of the shirt helps to keep the proportions balanced. I added in my light blue ripped jeans to keep the look light and bright. My nude colored heels were the perfect compliment to the dressier look that I’m creating with my button down shirt.
Don’t forget to scroll to the bottom of this post for outfit ideas for fall, winter, and summer.

How to Style a Pink Blazer for Valentine’s Day

HOW TO STYLE A PINK BLAZER FOR VALENTINE’S DAY
I’m sharing more than just how to style a pink blazer for Valentine’s Day. At the end of this post, I shared four more outfit ideas with this blazer. This light pink blazer will be perfect for the February holiday and be great to transition into the spring season. A blazer is a great staple to have in your wardrobe that can be dressed up for the office or down for brunch with your gal pals.
I can’t think of a better color combo than pink and red for Valentine’s Day. It’s one of my favorites, and one combo that I shared in this previous post. That look was a bit more dressy date night while today’s outfit leans a little more to the casual side. I opted to pair my pink and red combo with a light gray pair of jeans. A white pair of jeans would be another great option to really make the red and pink colors pop. A silver metallic heel is the perfect sparkly accessory to dress up this look and make it Valentine’s Day ready.
