Button Front Cami Top

Hello Ladies! Hope your week is off to a fabulous start!! Are you ready for the big Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this week? Early Access starts on Friday, and I’m hoping to have a post up for ya’ll at the start of the sale at 1130am CT. I’m planning to shop the shoes, jeans, and basics for myself. Let me know in the comments what you are planning to buy this year!
My trip to Breckenridge, Colorado last week was a big success! It was nice to get out of the humidity for a bit. We hiked up a mountain to check out a waterfall, did some horseback riding in Vail, and enjoyed a glass of wine or two outdoors while admiring the mountain views. All the view were so gorgeous, and the weather was sunny and perfect! One day, I will have to brave the cold and venture out during the ski season.
Now let’s talk about this outfit, I have been wanting a button front cami all summer. I picked this one up during the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale earlier this season. It’s currently still on sale too! It’s a great piece to wear stand alone with jeans or shorts and to layer underneath a light jacket or cardigan. I also linked a similar style from Amazon with a bunch of color options. I originally planned on getting a white one because I think it would be great for layering in the fall. When I saw the pink stripe though, I could not resist!
Alright ya’ll, hope the rest of your week goes well, and I will see you guys back here on Friday for the start of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for Nordstrom cardholders!

Blue Floral Maxi Skirt

Hello friends and Happy Monday!! Ok, so I totally wrote this post last week before heading out on my trip. Check back later this week for an update on how my first trip to Colorado went! First fun thing of July is crossed off the list! Now it’s time to start getting ready for the big Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! It starts in the middle of the day this year on Friday which well I’m not sure how I feel about that. I like being able to wake up early and prep a post for you guys that first day of early access. With it now being in the middle of my work day, I unfortunately will not be able to get that to you until the weekend. But don’t worry, I still have a super fun fashion post planned for Friday! Stay Tuned friends!
Now, let us talk about this gorgeous blue floral maxi skirt! It’s so fun to dress up for date night or dress more boho chic for daytime. I paired this with a black halter bodysuit for a dinner date a few weeks ago. It was the perfect summer Friday night outfit. This skirt moves so beautifully when you walk! For a more daytime brunch look, I pair it with a basic white tank top and layered silver necklaces. I think it will be cute to toss a black sweater over it in the fall and winter too.
For sizing, I ordered an XS mainly for the shorter length. In the waist, I probably would be more comfortable in a small, but the XS still fits just snuggly. The website has exact measurements, so I knew it would be snug when I ordered it, but I really wanted the short length for my height.
Alright ya’ll, I hope you have a great week ahead!

20 Outfits with White Jeans for Summer

Hello friends! I had so much fun this weekend sharing some summer styling tips. One of my staples for summer is a good pair of white jeans. It’s an easy way to dress up a causal look and really helps add a little vibrancy to those bright summer colors and prints. Today, I’m taking a look back at spring and summer outfits I’ve styled featuring white jeans.
I’m pretty sure every single one of these outfits features my Paige Skyline White Jeans. I love them so much that I own two pairs. The denim is thick which means not at all see through. I have had my first pair for about 4 years now, and they still look crisp white. I have tried other pairs, but the fit just doesn’t compare with these. I think the cut of them is flattering to my body type. White jeans will accentuate all areas whether you like that area or not, so finding the right cut for you is super important. Nordstrom has a pretty good return policy, so you can order different styles and try them on in the comfort of your home.
I hope you enjoy this look back at 20 outfits with white jeans from the past couple of years, ok and a few older than that, but I loved them too. Hopefully this will give you some different ways to wear your white jeans for summer and plan a few weekend or vacation outfits.

4th of July Outfit Idea

Hello Hello and welcome to Friday! It’s has been a crazy, busy, and fun week. Work has been really busy which I never really mind because it makes the work day go by faster. Wednesday night, my boyfriend and I went to a tasting event at McCormick and Schmick’s to sample their new menu. We ate so much good food that night. I’m now craving their chocolate silk pie!
This weekend is going to be pretty busy too. I’m heading to the lake on Saturday, and then Sunday I’m hosting a shopping party at Loft. If you are in the Houston area, I would love for you to stop by on Sunday, so we can meet and talk fashion. It’s going to be really fun!
Can you believe July is just around the corner? Do you have any 4th of July plans yet? I’m heading to Colorado with friends. I’ve never been, so I’m excited to travel somewhere new. I’m not quite sure what I will be wearing for the 4th, probably going to lean towards pretty casual. If you are heading somewhere a little dressier, I have the cutest 4th of July outfit idea for you.
This blue and white striped top is a subtle way to dress up for the 4th. It has the stripes and blue and white, but isn’t too over the top festive. I love the lace and ruffle details to add a little feminine flair to the look. I paired it with my white skinny jeans and my taupe block heels sandals for a dressier outfit. You could pair this top with white shorts and flat sandals or wedges for a dressed down look. If you want to make this look even more festive, you could change out my pink earrings for red ones.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, and I hope to see a few of you this Sunday at Loft!
