What to Wear to a Country Concert
What to Wear to a Country Concert
I found this Dolly Parton graphic tee a few months ago when the Houston Rodeo was going on. I knew it would be perfect to create a western inspired rodeo outfit. We didn’t end up making a trip to the rodeo this year, so I’m going to have to save it for next year. If you are heading to a festival or concert this summer, a graphic band tee paired with distressed denim shorts would be the perfect outfit for what to wear to a country concert. You could add a few more western touches like cowboy boots or a cowboy hat. I kept it simple with these tan booties that have a little western flair.
No concerts coming up? This outfit still works for a fun casual weekend to hang out with friends or head to a county or state fair. You could even dress it up with a pair of white jeans and denim jacket for a brunch ready look.
Sizing notes: I think this top runs small. I’m wearing the Women’s medium and it’s a little more fitted than I was wanting. I was hoping for a bit of a looser t-shirt fit compared to a more fitted shirt. For these shorts, they run tts. My pair is from last summer. I linked the same style, but it looks like this exact color/distressing patter isn’t currently available.

Floral Mini Dress with Sleeves
FLORAL MINI DRESS WITH SLEEVES
Ready to add all the spring dresses to your closet? This little mini dress is a must and can be dressed up and down. I wore it with block heel sandals for church a few weekends ago. I think it would be the perfect Easter dress. You could also pair it with a simple nude colored pair of pumps instead of a sandal. In addition to Easter, this dress and heels combo will also be perfect for any bridal showers you have this spring or summer.
Now let’s switch over to a more casual side. A flat pair of sandals or wedges is the way to to go to dress this down a bit for a casual brunch or even a casual Easter lunch. You can also toss a denim jacket over this dress to give it a more casual look. The sleeves have a puffy look, but they lay flat under a jacket. The dress and jacket combo with a pair of cowboy boots will be perfect for rodeo for all my Texas gals. See that western inspired outfit here.
With the ability to dress up and down, this tiered skirt dress will give you lots of versatility in your closet this spring and summer. I love all the details on this dress from the purple floral print, smock bodice detailing, fun and flirty tiered skirt, and you know I love a statement sleeve. It all works perfectly together for the essential spring dress. I’m wearing this dress in a size small.

How to Style a Floral Vest for Spring
HOW TO STYLE A FLORAL VEST FOR SPRING
Here we go, it’s time for some spring fashion! I always love putting together outfits for spring. It incorporates layering, pretty prints and silhouettes, and gorgeous colors. Not to mention, all of the fabulous heeled sandals and wedges. It’s also a great season for the basics in your closet like a plain white tee, light blue jeans, and tan sandals. I’m kicking off Spring Style hear on the blog with a mix of a few of the items I listed including a basic white top, a beautiful floral print with the perfect pops of color, and my Spring classic light blue ripped jeans
I’ve mentioned in a previous post that vests are trending for me. I love playing around with different ways to layer them. This outfit is all about how to style a floral vest for spring, but at the end of this post, I have an outfit idea for every season. It makes this cropped floral vest a year round must have for your closet. With the right styling (insert cowboy boots), this floral vest can also make a really cute western style or rodeo outfit.
For spring, I wanted to let the print and colors pop. I layered this vest over my white top which really helps colors shine. I chose a cotton button down shirt to dress up this vest outfit. The vest has a loose almost boxy fit, so the tighter fit of the shirt helps to keep the proportions balanced. I added in my light blue ripped jeans to keep the look light and bright. My nude colored heels were the perfect compliment to the dressier look that I’m creating with my button down shirt.
Don’t forget to scroll to the bottom of this post for outfit ideas for fall, winter, and summer.

This long black tunic has come in pretty handy this fall. It’s great over leggings for a day at home, and it also pairs perfectly with skinny jeans and boots. It’s got some pretty good versatility to it being able to dress down or into a super chic night out look.
