I seriously cannot believe that tomorrow is December and officially the Christmas season! The holiday season also means time for holiday parties. I can’t wait! I have some really fun holiday celebrations on my calendar already. Even though December gets a little crazy busy, I love that it is filled with friends and family time. Not too shabby of a way to end the year.
If you are heading to a dressier Christmas party, this lace holiday dress would be perfect for you! It comes in 11 COLOR OPTIONS, so you are bound to find the perfect one. Plus, it’s under $100 and would also be great to wear to weddings year round. I picked this dark teal because I thought it would be fun to do a play on Christmas colors. The red earring and teal dress pair perfectly together. You could also do a dark hunter green with a berry pink earring to reverse the color play.
For those of you in colder temperatures, you can easily pair this dress with black tights and black heels for a slightly warmer outfit. Since this dress was lace and a crew neckline, I opted out of a necklace with this look. If you wanted to wear one, I would go with something short and delicate that will not easily catch on the lace design.
If you want more holiday style inspiration, I have collected lots of different ideas HERE. Remember it can take 7-10 days for the regular shipping, so be sure to order soon if you need any holiday gear. You can find this page all month long under the special Holiday Shop tab on the menu bar too. I will be back to gift guides this Friday, so be sure to stop by and check it out! As always, thanks for stopping by the blog.

Shop Guide: Holiday Party Dresses

The Little Black Dress: one | two *comes in red too! | three
Blue and Gold: one | two | three
Lady in Red: one | two | three | four
Anyone else wishing they had 10 holiday parties this year, so they can wear all these dresses?!?!? Holiday party dresses are one of my favorite things. It probably has to do with my extreme love of dressing up.
A little black dress is the perfect classic dress for any occasion. It’s a go to when you don’t know what to wear. For a simple sophisticated look, you can pair it with black and gold shoes and accessories. For a little bit more of a statement, you can add pops of color with your shoes, purse, and jewelry. Think green purse, dark pink earrings, red heels, but not all together. I would go with 1-2 colorful pieces.
I think gold and blue will help you stand out in a crowd a bit more. You don’t see many people wearing blue to holiday parties, so it’s a great color for standing out a little. I would pair it with either silver or gold shoes and jewelry. You can also add in dark pink statement earrings too. While I don’t think gold is necessarily an uncommon color, I do think it’s a bold standout color. I think some might shy away from something so sparkly, so you may not see too many gold dresses. If you want to try it, go for neutral accessories like black heels and jewelry.
I feel like red can be kind of basic for a holiday party, but I don’t care I still love it. It’s a classic holiday look. If you want to do red and stand out, look for unique features like cutouts or scalloped edges. I love red paired with gold jewelry and black heels. You can add a sparkly gold clutch too for a fun standout piece.
If you have a holiday party or two coming up, I would buy now. With all the Cyber Week sales coming up, shipping may take a tad bit longer than normal. Plus ordering early allows time for returns and exchanges or to have alterations done.
You guys check back tomorrow, because I will have a list of some early access Black Friday deals and the perfect Thanksgiving outfit! So I will see you then, thanks for stopping by today.

Happy Monday Friends! Thanksgiving week is officially here! For those of you who have the whole week off, I’m a little jealous. I only have to work three days this week, and it ends with lots of homemade goodness and Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping. So I can’t complain too much. I used to have a job where I worked all holidays, so I definitely learned to appreciate having the time off to spend with family or to just relax with a giant bowl of dressing.
I have lots of fun blog posts planned this week including THREE outfit posts!! Plus, I will start including Black Friday deals in my posts on Wednesday as they start to hit my inbox. All my Black Friday shopping happens from the comfort of my couch in my pjs, so it’s more like 4 days of Cyber Monday shopping for me.
I have been in love with this star print for months now. I first spotted it last holiday season and saw it find it’s way to dresses, tops, and skirts throughout the year. The original dress I found was close to $200, so I passed on it. A small part of me always wished I would have splurged on it though. When I saw this dress for under $100, I jumped on it!! It’s still on sale for about $60 too. The sleeves are sheer, but the dress is fully lined. The neck can be tied or worn open. I really liked it tied to create a dressy look perfect for a holiday party.
This holiday dress can work for a nice family dinner, an office holiday party, or a happy hour holiday event. I added some color with my bag, but you could also add some colorful shoes or earrings too. After the holidays, this dress would be perfect for a wedding or even to wear to work.
Looking for more Holiday outfit inspiration?? You can always find more inspiration on my Holiday Style Page. BUT stay tuned because tomorrow I’m sharing some of my favorite party dresses! Have a great Monday, and I will see you tomorrow.

Spring is hands down my favorite season for dresses! It was hard to narrow this list down. As a kid, I definitely remember always getting to buy a fancy dress for Easter and Christmas. My sister and I totally had matching dresses for years until we started boycotting because nothing made your more uncool then dressing like your sister. 🙂 These days my family keeps it pretty low key for Easter usually jeans or a casual sundress.
I tried to pick a variety of Easter dresses for all the different ways you may spend the holiday. The bottom red dress is probably the one I would pick for my family Easter celebration. It would be perfect paired with some brown wedges and a long pendant necklace. The short blue dress on top is one of my front-runners for my cousin’s wedding next month. It has a super cute criss-cross back design. I’m hoping to head to the store to try it on soon. It also comes in a bright pink, so I want to try on both colors to help me decide.
I also picked a couple dresses that can also work for the office. My shopaholic nature absolutely uses holidays and events as an excuse to buy a new dress. If I were buying an Easter dress, I would probably pick something I could wear to the office or to church on regular Sundays too.
